Wizard of Oz, 3 minute test. 69 wpm, 2 errors, laptop keyboard.

120 wpm? wtp chrome. wtp.

edit; Max speed I can achieve is 73 wpm. I just can't type faster without making too many errors. =\

Tried again. It's 80 WPM for the typewriter now.

I never leave any mistakes uncorrected...I guess I have a perfectionist streak.

Anyway, there's no need for anyone to type that fast in the first place; I daresay 40~50 WPM is fast enough for most occasions.

By the way, I'm typing like L Lawliet. i.e. using only the index fingers to type.

It's a huge timesaver if you have to type a lot. Imagine: 5 hours to type something versus 2.5 hours.

Man, some of you guys are crazy. I'm only at like 70-80 wpm. 100+ wpm from stereo @_@.

i was trying to record myself this time so my laptop screen was tilted down; i probably wouldn't have had as many errors if the screen was at a normal angle.

80->79 adjusted.

if you're in school and tend to type a lot of papers then it definitely helps; i don't spend nearly as much time on essays as most people i know.

that, plus the fact that i have a mechanical keyboard now (WASD brand, for anyone wondering) makes things extremely easy.

You could always take the keys out of your keyboard and just scramble them. Makes for a good prank for anyone else coming to your computer =D
