hate the new bstep and assaulter animations. The old ones were 1000x better

new savage blow animation is nice, but i really liked the way it sounded. The POPOPOPOPOPOP before is iconic to bandits imo.

Gotta admit. Shadower doesn't look too different from now. With that new Rush skill they're looking better than before, but as Rusty said new BStep and Assaulter don't seem as good as the original.

I like the new boomerang step it actually is a boomerang now. I wonder if the new assaulter can still teleport you if your close enough to the monster like bucs corkscrew blow.

It looks like a f'ucking DB now, just BStep in place of Flying Assaulter. They've turned Shadower's Assaulter into that stupid tornado spin kick DB's have.
So quitting my shad when this revamp comes(if I wanted that playstyle, I'd have still been playing my own DB).

Wait, you can't use assaulter the way it's used now anymore?

Are the controls of Assaulter the same as the uber-crap DB tornado spin controls right now (press attack button + direction arrow twice or something else crappy)?

No, it's still the 1 key use, but it appears to be used exactly like tornado spin. And since it's changed into a rush now, I have a feeling it won't be good for the awesome mobility we've known for years.

Union update in a nutshell so far:

Shads: Upset about good skills they lost.
NLs: Upset about terrible skills they gained.
Buccs: Upset about everything.
Corsairs: Peachy.

I hate when people say this. Dual blades since chaos have played differently then shadowers. It is a small map. a Dual blade would use blades fury here. Flying assaulter and tornado spin would make him fall off constantly here. This shadowers way is probably most efficient way on this map. For someone with no good equips he is killing way faster than Boomerang step+bot combo. This method surely wouldn't work in monster park or lhc. Only thing i mad about is how the assassination points are useless.

Obviously was talking about post-Chaos, wasn't I? No. I haven't played my DB seriously since I quit it pre-BB. I don't give 2 s'hits whether they'd use fury here.
They only difference here, is DBs did this on wide maps, the shad's doing the same s'hit in a shorter distance. I don't care how efficiently he's doing it, I don't care that it may be faster than BStep+BoT. You obviously didn't understand what I dislike now, is it's the exact same play style as DBs were; FA ~> TS ~> FA ~> TS ~> optional US spam ~> FJ and repeat Vs. BStep ~> Assaulter ~> Bstep ~> Assaulter ~> optional Edge Carnival spam ~> FJ and repeat.

One video doesn't represent how people play their characters. You can play your character any damn way you want to play it, it's as simple as that.
