That wasn't what i meant. Invincibility frames don't serve a point from a bossing standpoint if the skill has a short duration or moves a mob because both factors create a situation where the character suffers damage (because you can't link the rushing iframes into iframes from another skill...with the current skill set, that is) or worse, the party. There would be a point if a buccaneer could prevent movement of the mob when the CSB/double spiral is executed, but the only thing that could do that is barrage. Get it?
CSB/DS are about as useful for invincibility now as rushing invincibility for warriors is.

I dont know about any other buccs out that but for me making Cork screw Blow non charge is more of a nerf than a benefit. Can you still even jump cast cork screw blow now in KMST?

What advantage does charging provide? If any skill that required charging were available at no penalty without charging, I would definitely use it without charging.

If you can't jump cast CSB/double spiral, our ability to traverse ropes and platforms gets downgraded significantly. Not to mention our ability to space ourselves further away from a mob without having to move with them and then double back only to have the mob follow you to their original position. You can't jump from a platform above while holding a charge and release it onto a platform that you would have had to climb up to otherwise anymore.

I think it'd be kinda cool if brawlers got an uppercut jump skill lol, to jump from platform to the one above ya.
Then all pirates would have a platform jump skill ;D
Though, I think it'd look weird in game, thinking about it..lol

On top of all of that, we still have the shittiest of the shittiest DPS in the game. Where's the good in that? The only thing that looks even half decent is the new animation for the new 1v1 skill. We're basically the class that goes in and dies so that everyone can point and laugh at us because we have the shittiest defense in the game, no good avoidability, no dodge-rate skills, we have less HP than a god damn ranged class (Cannon Shooters), and we provide absolutely NOTHING for a party of any kind. We may as well not even be a melee class anymore because we have absolutely no way of surviving as a melee class. Our damage isn't good enough to be a ranged class... Where do you classify us now? Where the hell do we stand?
Really, there's nothing... NOTHING good about this update for Vipers. If they do not change this, there's absolutely no point in even sticking to the class by any means. They ruined it. They chewed it up, regurgitated it, ate it, shat it out, stomped on it, then stuck it in an envelope, gave it to us and smiled.
Well some of those things do sound pretty bad. I only said I was starting to be okay with the changes. I don't feel like grinding to 163 again so I have to stick with my bucc. I'm just trying to stay positive.

Pierce is garbage compared to lasers. The extra 200 range and OHKING everything is worth not 0.1HKOing the last monster.

New pierce is more stable (3 hit of 520%) that can hit up to 9 monsters going up to 3 hits of 2235% to the 9th monster

Energy Blast is more stable because it hits a lower % per hit (475%), and more hits per attack (4). The fact that Pierce does more damage as it hits more monsters means its less stable than a skill that doesn't.
