I've got no problem with replacing stun mastery with an attack skill that's good and powerful, and is then upgraded in 4th job to replace some pomegranatety skill, take 5 points off something for the upgrade.
I've said it before; just adding %'s everywhere isn't a substitute for an actual revamp. They did it with the 2nd union patch for the original adventurers and guess what? Nobody really liked that revamp.
Except for making the ultimates 2hit. But that wasn't a direct damage increase (or it might have been 50%), it was a improvement of the skill.
In this game, when everyone's hitting max damage, increasing damage isn't really the point. That's why classes that have multi-hit skills or skills that just have an insane amount of HITS per second are so ridiculously good, because the %damage is diluted but it has the potential to be so much higher than other classes.
I'm hoping I'm making myself clear.

No, I'd just rather have the 35% in 4th job to replace Pirates Revenge so we can have it on at all times and have that skill improve on the block rate chance for the Retaliate skill I mentioned. And no, I'd never call hamad an idiot.

Am I one of the few that actually like the Drain/MP recovery replacement (Endurance)? Recover 5% HP/MP every 5 seconds, this is going to be very helpful on bosses that seduce along with Willow Defense.
EDIT: Now if only they remove the Super Xform image from the skills that have it.

Yeah, I loved how NL's were the only class besides Bishop's that had a healing skill in 2nd job in the past. Now it's gone. Buccaneer's healing is also gone. So is Shadower's. I just don't get it. Yet healing skills are kept on other classes. Why not just remove healing skills from every class not named Cleric/Priest/Bishop so that this makes sense to NL's, Buccaneer's, and Shadower's?

Well i can list 1000 Reasons.
1.Buccaner are still low-tier DPM for example I compare them with Post Union Arans.
Arans get 35% Increase from Snow Charge and pineapple 105ATK+( its 135 right)? from Skills also they get Advance Final Attack coming with 170%Max Critical Damage and 55 % Crit Rate along with 40%PDR +25%Boss Damage
Arans full Swings are 100 + 400 +400 + 490 +490 +355* + 355 +355= 3000% in 1,6 SEC + all those buffs from ABove and Final Attack( Im not consider FinalBlows 100% Crit Chance)
And Now Look Buccaner
The Punch delay is 960MS so in roughly 1,9 Sec they Deal 3500% with a freaking 25ATK Buff only. Their Crit and eveything is lower than Arans and even with out FInal Attack would kill Buccs.
SUMMARY: BUCCS STILL SUCKS AND ARANS ARENT EVEN NR.1 DPM!

Look, I know stun mastery doesn't really make sense attack wise, but most all the buccaneers that I know did not make a buccaneer for "DPS". Most of them (if not all of them) are more pissed off because Nexon didn't do anything to improve the buccaneer's gameplay and just made it the same as everyone else: get buffs spam laser/mob attack cannon, rinse and repeat.
Now I don't know about any other class, but Buccaneers were unique in that they did not have a "spam this one attack and you can be top DPS forever". Yes we had Demolition, but we were limited by Transformation (yet another reason why a few buccaneers made their character, which has now been reduced to a mere afterimage and a ghostly reminder that your old play has been turned to complete crap). Here's what I see nexon taking from us:
- Barrage does not auto knockback = Bucs can't contribute anything major to boss runs anymore besides time leap (because as listed before SI is completely useless for 90% of the characters except some warriors).
-They took out Barrel: why is this bad? Barrel gets rid of auto aggro and could distract at bosses or save your life from a monster when you needed it (and lets you CC faster).
- They took away our unique-ness: No more transformation state and energy bubble. Some are OK with transform being gone because they can see their NX clothes. Others dislike the change because, well, that's why they made their buccaneers. Our bubble has been reduced (or shall I say, imploded) into some piece of crap super-imposed red triangle that looks like 3 pyramid PQ buffs got mashed together. Yeah not quite what we were going for.
-They gave us a second rush skill- we could ALREADY rush 2 times. they merely took out the whole "turn around to attack" thing, which I enjoyed because it gave you a whole new wy to go about mobbing (and it was key to dragon dancing at one point until Nexon decided iFrames were worthless). I still use backspin on a regular basis, as should every buccaneer, except for the nub UA ones that are like "LOL backspin is useless just corkscrew and spam your mob skill nub buc". Probably a reason why they removed it.
- They gave us a fucking ultimate. WHAT THE pineapple. What buccaneer told you they wanted an ultimate? So you get to hit 15 monsters on screen for damage every 30 seconds. YAY?

Our party buffs aren't even useful anymore (nt since everyone can solo zakum now). I would be much more content if they took out the silly, crap animations and super-impositions and just had either the transform sprite do it or your character, not both. Agee. I wish Transformation Back T_T. Its what ade Buccaners special. Also lots of Damage / DPS Improvement would be rly nice.

But Corsair got more pineapple.
Now they suck at DPM and in Mobbing.
I don't have a buc but i think even if they would remove transformation instead of summoning a sprite it would of been better if you transformed for a brief moment in to transformation state yourself when performing skills. That way people who like to see their nx get to see it and you don't quite lose transformation.

Multiple avatars can be summoned (up to 3 {speed cap cannot be broken and the attack, str, and dex decreases to 10att from the 2nd avatar and 5 from the third, 15 dex from the 2nd and 10 from the 3rd, and 30 str from the 2nd and 15 from the third})
Spoiler alert: it looks exactly like the Transformed state.
All the Father-son Kamehameha and other skills that use the Saiyan look require an Energy Avatar to be present to be cast.
Now, I know what you're thinking. Stun Mastery has a max level of 20!

Hits one monster for 300% damage 3 times.
Each present avatar does an additional set of attacks that mirrors that damage, and each avatar's damage increases depending on how many avatars are present. 1 avatar does 50%, 2 does 55% each, 3 does 65% each.
3 summoned avatars does 1775% damage per use of the skill.
Delay is 800ms.
With Speed infusion, I actually don't know what it does. Someone figure it out for me.

Um why would you even make that a skill all it takes is a few animations changes. Attacking transform state/ Not attacking normal looking. Weren't most of the moves slower in super transform state anyway? Obviously bringing it back as a skill wouldn't be good for buccaneer.

It solves the problem of not having a good bossing move.
Which is mainly what I was looking for; barrage isn't a great bossing move.

I don't see the problem with the new barrage its basically hurricane fist. You would just use that on single targets. My friend is level 175 and hit never put more than 1sp in current barrage.

Except, you can also see an octopus riding it as opposed to the player riding it. It looks like that Captain Latanica move where he summons this tugboat to ram into you. I personally think summoning an octopus on a battleship and ramming into mobs makes more sense as a pushing skill more than Mr. Bullet Bill.

Plus he got infracted upon his first post in this thread. Though he obviously didn't notice/learn from it and continued with those posts, which led to him being banned from the thread.
Anyway, Shadowers totally need another mobbing skill (in 3rd job, mainly) that's more useful like Band of Thieves (which they removed). To be honest, I quite like the old gameplay where you build up coins (with Band of Thieves usually) and detonate them for even more damage than Band of Thieves could ever deal. It's much better than just spamming a single skill...and they really should get rid of Steal, or at least remove the freaking stun; it's totally stupid.
On the other hand, I'm actually pretty happy with the Gunner changes.
