Did shenanigins really get worse?

The quality of the Funhouse/Shenanigans fluctuates with each generation of posters, depending upon their creativity and conduct. We have a very small population and this variance is more pronounced because of it.

Much like the Wall Street protests against the economy, change will come through creative solution and not simply poking it with a big stick to see if it's dead.

I made a thread recently that people seemed to have enjoyed. It took me about 30 minutes to create because I am horrible at drawing on the computer. I wasn't reprimanded for it and, for the most part, neither were the hundreds of users before me who have had the same results. I'm not trying to speak down to you when I say this but you're putting blame where you shouldn't. You're accusing the pebble of getting in the way of your wagon. Consider what you post a little bit more.

Image dumps are freaking annoying now because hurrdurr 2MB limit per post.

Hero Mode = take double damage and hearts do not drop AT ALL from ANYTHING (unless you get the Heart Medal, but I count that as cheating).

I'm not sure why you're being so vague. Are you speaking about ponies, a particular rule, or Southperry's moderation as a whole?

I feel that none of those present insurmountable obstacles in producing good content.

There haven't been that many rules added since the early days of the site. The only ones that would really make a difference in this case would be the two regarding obscenity. While I don't exactly agree with them, they should only rarely get in the way.

Of course fairies are. They're the same thing as potions (and they're harder to get to in Skyward Sword). Hearts aren't dropped by ANYTHING by default. The Heart Medal makes hearts drop at the same rate as having the Heart Medal in the original playthrough. It's kind of cheating to use that if you ask me. :X

I know it's there for intended purposes, as it even states on it "even in Hero Mode!" But to me, using it is cheating. lol Plus, it kind of kills the challenge.
