I'm hoping that there'll be a lot more changes to come. The way things are now, I don't see any advantage of making a Corsair over an Archer. It looks like they just tried to combine aspects of Archers into a Corsair and called it a day. I'm surprised they didn't give us (Advanced) Final Attack and Advanced Mastery Rolleyes

I like that they got rid of Battleship. Even though it was what made Sairs unique, it was more of a hindrance than anything. Plus it makes more sense. Slingers are mobile and fast until 4th job where they're suddenly immobile.

I still don't see all the hate for this patch..all the NLs buccs and Sairs of my guild are all happy. A few were pissed and saw some videos and changes now their happy. Are you people really that resistant to a change in playstyle?

Hero AFA gives 2 hits for free now with no damage penalty, and Rage gives an extra 10 watk? What.

One class getting it doesn't mean that every class that gets revamped suddenly should. Mechanics are also in GIANT MACHINES. To not have Stance makes less sense than every other ranged class having Stance.

Sorry for the double post but idk how to double quote. But dash is a castable buff. and its a short one at that. though idk the buff time. maybe 20sec??? could be annoying to say the least but still. its the principle. Its like every class getting flash jump and NLs QQ about it. or BM and everyone getting a hurricane type skill.

Cannoneers also get stance, though not as good, and they're ranged. As of now every pirate has stance except for sairs.

Cannon Shooters have stance and they're a ranged class.
Mechs have 100% stance from the beginning and they're a ranged class.( Well, in 4th mainly)
It seems like nexon wants all the pirates to have some form of stance, even if they're a ranged class..

For me it not unique anymore , as Mech system is same as using a ship , getting rid of it and switch to kraken master is more fun for me xD , i wish they add more kraken skills type and kraken mastery thing.

I don't have an excuse for Cannon Shooters, however Mechanic was already explained a few posts up.

I dunno why CSes have it, but it's not justification for Corsairs getting it. If nothing else, you could always say that the huge cannon adds a bit of weight, making monsters unable to push you around. Corsairs, however, have small guns.

Even if you don't want to agree with that reasoning, "This class has it so that class should too" is never a reason.

Hoping for lots more changes, that skill that pushes monsters back is useless, triple throw is ugly and lost its sexy balloon popping sound, and the new smokescreen is hideous and doesn't even look like smoke.

I don't understand the Continual Aiming NEW skill.
Can anyone tell me the difference between that skill and Advance Homing? =/ I'm a little confuse. Why do they call it a NEW skill when it's the same skill, they just changed the name.
The only difference I see between them is the damage done on the mob. (Advance Homing 620% Continual Aiming 610%)
Or maybe they changed the name since Homing Beacon was deleted.

If that was the case, they'd have it in 1st job.
And it's obvious KMS doesn't want sairs to have stance. Let's just leave it at that.

Yeah it basically is the same. It's like the Dark Chains change for Battlemages.

They did change the name because Homing Beacon was deleted, and Advanced Homing was a passive buff to Homing Beacon.

*edit: I guess dawn warriors are likely to get intrepid slash in a future revamp.

My judgement so far:

NLs: I'm sad to see their 4th job is full of buffs and improvement skills to many previous job's. Not like I could ever thing of good changes for this job so I will qualify it 3/5.

Shadower: Changing assaulter was just wrong. I find it stupid to give you pickpocket in 3rd job and then give you grid in the same job to improve pickpokect. wtp is the point of giving you a skill that improves the other one in the same job. Other than that, I like most visual improvements they made so I will give this job a 4/5.

Buccaneer: The animation of energy charge looks like a bad shaped Kayoken (or whateevr you call the red aura skill Goku used when fighting against Vegeta), Tornado upper's animation looks like a Shoryuken done wrong, wtp did nexon keep shockwave for? No transform or ST, no demolition, crap like the nautilus ultimate and double lucky dice, Is Fists of rage even a hurricane like skill as other people said? because the animations and videos don't seem to show that. Fk you Nexon, I give this a 2/5.

Corsair: Everything looks good except for the slow attacking summons, both crew assembly and gatlin octopi need a speed buff. Octopi raid looks really good, but I still would have prefered a Spinning tentacles shadow-partner-like octopi (Tongue). Also gets Nautilus and 2Lucky dice T_T. I still give this a 4.

Just a few things :
Can we still summon multiple octopi?
That +20 attack and +700 bullet skill should be passive. It may be a toggle on/off skill, but they might as well make it passive.
