The new Captain Octopus skill is really cool though. And summoning the Nautilus is neat but I was never a fan of ultimates.

They should make energy charge's animation smaller and more like the buff from the old pyramid PQ and then add a few electrical shock things coming from it. Right now it's too big and stupidly activated. We wanted charging to be easier, but not THAT easy. Might as well make it a toggle ability if you do that >.>

Pretty sure it's a bug, because the charge rate turned from 200 to 8000.
It's probably going to be 800 or something.

EDIT: The passive effect for Energy Blast is a 30% chance on every attack to charge an increased amount of energy. Certain that the troll charge speed is a bug now.

Or just have the electricity effect flowing around your character. That's badass enough, I think.

They removed Super Saiyan modes, and Energy Drain?!? Noooooooooo!

I can only take a small glance, as I am cooking part of the family dinner. I anxiously await the videos of the Revamped Buccs in action before I truly give an opinion on them.

One small thing bugging me. What's this about Energy Charge taking 2 hits? Does it mean we only need 2 hits to activate it, or we need at least two hits to start charging? If the former, all of my YES. If the latter, lemme go to a corner and ./sadface.

True, we Shadowers have been clamoring for a revamp, but the kind of revamp we wanted was one that would accentuate the playing style of Shadowers.

Absolutely. I look at this revamp, and all I see is flashy visuals. The concept images and skill animations added a TON of hype, but now that we're down to the point, it's a lacklustre update. The mechanics don't work properly, the damage buffs don't seem to be all that drastic, and it's not even remotely thought through. It would be generous of me to call it anticlimactic.


Maybe, just maybe, they're doing this so all Thieves/Pirates bandwagon onto their Hero counterparts? Rolleyes

No kidding. The NL changes look all scattered around. I don't see the point in adding ultimates. Plus, removing our healing skills (minus Corsair's) was totally unexpected. The classes don't really feel the same anymore.

I'm still reserving judgement for NLs until I see some more videos. We're flashier, I'll give them that... it's really not what I expected though.
