Original Dragon Nest Thread

I can't wait until nests reset on saturday. I'm saving up a ton of cerb crests and I'm going to farm mino crests through ACL abyss. Gonna hold off on upgrading my 2 rings until then =D. I'm still using 2 green rings. If I can get 2 cerb destructive rings hopefully I can get to like 2200+ range.

Uh, guys, if you all did your nest runs during the weekend and haven't done any since the patch, you can start running again. I thought they reset nest runs after the patch.

Gotta love the chest at the end of the nest. (Which, personally I thought we'd never get) Epic accessories are deflating faster than a balloon. Got an Epic Brutal Necklace for just 250g.

Love actually being rewarded in dungeon/nest runs, unlike before where you could run something a dozen times only to come out in the end with just a couple of decent drops. They finally realized the rates had been total ass. So much content in this update that I didn't think we'd get for a good while, or ever.

Yeah, runs were reset after the patch. Nearly done with mines, got SO MUCH STUFF. Ton of useless superb plates (willfull, sturdy), but also this really nice 23 epic ring that had a ton of magic damage on it. Used a diamond spark on it and it came out with % intellect and hp AND mp, so that's great.
Moss prices went crazy, I had bought like 15 for 40g each earlier this week, yesterday they all sold for 200 each. Huge profit
Anybody do the Chaos rifts yet? No idea how those work or what the rewards are, or if you even get exp. Don't even know where they're located lol.

Moss is like 200 gold in Gerrant? They're still about 60 gold each here in Velskud. Which is just as well, because now I need 24 of them to craft my Level 32 Epic wand and shield.

Average Topaz here in Velskud is worth like 250 gold per stack of 20, while Average Onyx is like 350 per stack. So I decided to go after the epic weapons instead. I managed to enhance my Largo Wand and Shield to +8/+7 on the first try for both today. I only used like 35 Average Topaz and 6 Average Diamonds total. Sparked the wand and got 8% Light Attack, and sparked the shield and got +5.8% Magic Attack.

My magic damage range went up by like 250 as a result (used +12 level 23 wand and +10 shield before), and this is before upgrading them. Might try to enhance the shield one more time.

Decide to do my first dungeon run in forever to get Mino pass -> get epic Fire Wall plate instead -> did said Mino run and found that Elementalist buffs are in and nothing flinches me anymore.

The shields are straight up OP in PvP. I feel bad as I slaughter people now. At least in dungeons and nests it absolutely kills your MP to have it on at all times.
Oh, and Alilatias, do you use jellies, or just enhance straight through?
How hard is it to enhance epics? I'm considering enhancing some to +6 or 7 and then crafting them for magic attack.

So I've been hearing that the next cap update will be early december. Anyone here think that's gonna be the case?

I enhance straight through. Getting to +8 isn't that hard, you just gotta hope you're not unlucky. +9 and higher is a whole different story to the point where I don't want to risk it at the moment, though.

Be aware that once you reach +5, you will need at least one Average Diamond per enhancement attempt as well. Also, I think epic equips can start de-ranking on failed attempts as soon as you reach +4. My wand and shield de-ranked on me once at around +5, but after that hurdle, I got from +5 to +8 without any failed enhancement attempts on both of them afterwards.

I think that sounds about right, actually. I'm not aware of any other content that we're missing between now and the Level 40 cap, and it has almost been two months since the 32 cap was released (and it took two months for the 32 cap itself to be released when we still had 24 cap).

Then again, I don't really keep up with the other versions of DN that much. Plus it'd make sense for Nexon to push out the Level 40 cap before the holidays.

I'm thinking we'll get a level cap around winter as well. kDN has said before how they wanted to release a cap update this winter, too.

I think I've done this with everything. "Chance to boom" translates to "Have fun with them ashes of your equip!" for me. Epics scare me now, I'll stick to +7 rares and craft those for magic damage. Better that +8 greens damage wise, but lower range.
