Mercedes & Demon Slayers not slated for December 7th Release?

I'm sure people have been speculating this considering there have only been events for Cannoneers and nothing has popped up regarding Mercedes or Demon Slayers, but I am just wondering if anyone knows for sure if Nexon is planning for one big patch on the 7th for all 3 classes or are they breaking them up into their own separate patches?

I am sort of prematurely posting this thread, and I should probably wait until tomorrow night to see if they release Mercedes information on the Legend page (where the trailer and Cannoneer info is), but I had some downtime and just wanted to get everyone else's opinion on the subject.

I'm still holding onto all 3 classes possibly being released at the same time, only because I think the information for Mercs and DS will be released this week and next week respectively, before the patch gets put into motion the following week after (Cannoneer info was released on the 16th, Mercs will probably be released on the 23rd, and DS on the 30th, just in time for the patch to be released the following Wednesday, the 7th). I am not sure if this theory will hold true, but I guess we'll just have to wait.

In the meantime, if anyone has relative information on it, or wants to throw their two cents into the topic I'd love to hear what everyone else has to say on the matter.

I dont think so. Maybe Mercedes and Demon Slayer will be release together after Cannoner patch. There is no prequestes for them so that is the biggest reason to think that they coming later.

There has been no hype for them in GMS.
There is nothing in the current patch's data that looks like a pre-event for them.
There is no patch this week or next to add their data.

It's possible that the December 6th/7th patch will include their data, but they will not be accessible, as has been the case with some other "one patch for 3 updates" patches in the past.
They will not be released without the usual hype and preparatory events.

Unless there's another minipatch in the next 2 weeks to add in pre-quests for em, they'll probably be released separately, which is fine by me.

Didn't like how they rushed everything together in Ascension, wanna take my time w/ each of the 3 new characters and the events that fit them.

because you cannot activate skill changes with a server check. IF nexon wants to have the jump patch separately, nexon WOULD have to have separate patches for each of them(which goes against nexon's goal of patching a lot less frequently and working on 1 big patch), so if they wanted 1 big patch, nexon HAS to release all parts of jump at once. This is a different story however for jobs, because the jobs have a seperate skill table and likely be turned on in a simple server check or extremely small addon patch.




TL;DR version: Changes in Skills(Chaos/Jump) =/= New Jobs. All changes in skills have to happen at once since its modifying the existing skill.wz

Listen, I was just trying to get some healthy, friendly, feedback of what everyone thinks will happen and why...if you're going to just shoot it down and be negative about it do me a favor and don't post.

As for the actual topic of the thread...yeah, that would make sense...I have a feeling they are going to release Mercs mid December and have pre-release events with the Dec 7th patch...which means there is a good chance Demon Slayers may not come til the first week in January. I'm just thinking they may want each class to shine for a couple weeks so people get a feel for them before making a final decision (though most people who commit to a character already know which ones they plan on playing lol)

Take a look at the legends preview. Seems very likely that they'll release the other two classes later on.

A basiler and I predicted Mercedes for December 21 (Cannoneer events end on the 20th) and Demon Slayers for January 4 (July 7- December 7; July 21 - December 21; August 4- January 4).

I think that Mercedes info will be out with Cannoneer, and same with Demon Slayers during Mercedes.

He didn't shoot anything down and didn't really direct anything towards you, in his defense. I don't know why you're posting a question like this as if there were any obvious hints, data, or any proof available it be posted in an organized fashion somewhere on the website. If it isn't then it's most likely unknown to us in terms of release dates.

So much time in between classes. I really do not hope for Demon Slayers in January, because that's when school gets loaded.

Makes some sense, although I don't like the idea that we will likely only get a week of Tespia to test all three.

Chances are slim that they would want us to test cannoneers. They should, but i doubt it.

Honestly, they'd be fools to hold back Mercedes and Demon Slayer until after the holidays.
I fully expect them to arrive during December.

Their release dates for all 3 are regardless poorly planned. Cannoneers right before finals, mercedes right at christmas, demon slayer after new years? Just doesn't make sense.

I'm kind of hoping this will be the case. I'd like to have SOME leeway time to goof around with the new classes, instead of just rushing through Cannoneer and Mercs only to power up my Pally and DSlayer.
