I've been reading more into the Rogue Legendary questline and I read that bosses in 25m drop TWO "Elementium Gem Clusters", but only 1 rogue can loot 1 cluster per boss. This seems to imply that Blizz wants 25m groups to gear 2 rogues up at the same time. Real interesting thing to do honestly. Only difference is the massive grinding we have to do to get to Stage 2 lol. Stage 1 is a breeze, but Stage 2 requires 333 Shadow Gems and 60 Gem Clusters, with each Cluster seeming to drop 4 - 9 Gems.

My rogue buddy said it'll take, AT MINIMUM, 3 months to complete stage 2 alone, and that's assuming a full 8/8 clear every week AND each Cluster dropping 9 gems.

Well I'm getting the questline off the PTR. We're talking about how considering you need 333 Shadow Gems, which can only be gotten from the Clusters, and 60 Clusters, which 2 drop per boss, with 4-9 gems per Cluster. He came up with the "Min. 3 month" conclusion after I told him everything about it, because I'm apparently the only rogue, in our guild, who did any reading on the Legendary questline lol.

Also, I mean 8/8 Normal or Heroic. Yes, PTR is PTR, but we're just assuming the worst case scenario that Heroic won't change the drop rate or Shadow Gem output from Clusters.

Doesn't hurt to plan, in advance, how long this questline could take us when 4.3 drops. Plus this is ONLY up to Stage 2 daggers. We have no idea what stage 3 consists of whatsoever.

there has never been legendary that was just as easily obtained in normals as heroic so I'm going to assume heroic clusters drop more shadow gems.

well, at least your legendary can be done on 10 or 25man.

icc/ulduar legendary are still 25man only, and it is so hard to find people to do 25man icc/ulduar... it when they dont leave on the first or second bosses...

leveling up a rogue is hella fun if you PvP. If you got BoAs it's GG. Just watch out for hunters

Yeah, it's a bit dull at lower levels though IMO because it's just Ambush -> Backstab -> Stealth forever.

So I'm probably just leveling Mut to 30, then dual-speccing to Sub and picking it up from there.

Edit: Also, aren't the first stage Legendaries BiS till you can get the second stage anyway? So at least you won't be running around with subpar weapons for 3 months.

No first stage legendaries are common ilevel of normal mode of the current raid. Ex. First part of Legendary Staff quest is a 378 staff, then a 391, then legendary.

Who cares, the 1st stage daggers are easy as hell to get, Requires 4th boss in DS and no grinding, and are ilvl 397, aka better than every "Rogue" weapon from Heroic Firelands.
Hell, freaking Heroic Rag's drops are ilvl 397, you're going to be replacing EVERYTHING in Normal DS, except for Dragonwrath and Heroic Rag equips.

What the crap, man. I'm about 5-6 bubbles (aka ~30% left) level 65, and I roughly JUST left Hellfire Peninsula after doing all the possible quests there. What the hell happened, EXP curve? I remembered when I left to Zangamarsh at level 62-63, not nearly 65. What's next, I'll hit 70 by the time I'm done with all of Terokkar Forest?!

Well at least they're decent/very good weapons!

lol, well looking at the MoP talent calculator, they are making divine storm a normal skill(no need to put a talent point on it) not sharing CD with CS, and making sanctity of battle a passive skill that lower the CD of CS, judge and HotR, and they are giving HotR to ret paladin too lol... and making HoW generate 1 holy power, thats a buff.

But i know, paladins will probably be OP on the first week of MoP, then they will be nerfed to the ground...again lol...

People thought Rogue's "Sprint" was getting replaced with "Burst of Speed", but it's not, so we have some crazy movement now, BoS -> BoS -> Sprint -> BoS -> BoS. Also I love that all 3 specs got "Fleet Footed" and "Relentless Strikes".

they made a LOT of changes since they announced MoP on blizzcon.

At level 68 head to northrend. You should be in shadowmoon valley or netherstorm by 67

P.S. Zangarmarsh is the most boring thing, only rivaled by Boring Tundra

Skip it and go to Nagrand, then Nether/Shadowmoon
