Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread

So what champ should i buy next? wanna hear opinions on these choices:

-Lee sin for jungler
-Brand for Caster
-Shyvanna for Solotop/Jungler
-Wukong for Solotop
-Leona for Aggresive Support
-Ezreal for AD carry?

Those are the ones that comes to mind.

Lee Sin: Strong in lane, strong in jungle. Can't go wrong with him.
Brand: One of the top AP carries. Definitely viable although if you can't land skillshots you'll be useless because he relies on that stun a lot.
Shyvana: Don't jungle with her. Seriously. Her clear times may be godly but her ganks are piss poor and she's better off as a solo top. With a solo lane to farm from she becomes pretty bulky from items and her ult.
Wukong: Buffs gave his Q some pretty nice damage now. Decent pick.
Leona: I don't like the idea of tanks supporting (as in 0 cs supporting) because a tank needs items to initiate/counter the other team. Although if you meant supporting while farming I suppose she's okay but there are better tanks out there.
Ezreal: He's fun, you have to be good with skillshots though. Also he doesn't scale as well as other AD carries late game so that's something to watch out for. He farms very easily though so you should be way ahead of everyone in farm.

With all that being said I think you ought to choose a role you're least familiar with. Knowing how to play all roles decently will definitely help improve your overall gameplay.

Edit: Also pulled a drive-by Baron steal with Udyr earlier tonight, though I died immediately afterwards.

-Lee sin for jungler - Amazing jungler, ganker and overally great champion, banned a lot in low ELO though.
-Brand for Caster - One of my favorite casters, wicked damage but you do need to be good with skillshots.
-Shyvanna for Solotop/Jungler - I disagree with Connor here, I've seen her jungle and I've seen it work, her speed buff is great for ganks and if you get dragon the enemy is very likely to die, also good solo top.
-Wukong for Solotop - I haven't played him since the buffs really, but to me it felt disappointing to play him before the buffs and it felt like he relied on his ult too much.
-Leona for Aggresive Support - Probably my favorite character, I usually support bot with her and have no trouble with farm if I open with philo and build a HoG for a late Randuin. I also played solo top with her like twice and rocked both, but I guess that the enemy being bad was helpful for that.
-Ezreal for AD carry - I really like him but he lacks in CC and you need to be good with skillshots.

LoL has been glitchy the past few days. I swore I picked the right mastery tree setups to use, but for some reason, I noticed I get other bonuses as if I were using my other masteries. wtp. -_-

I see no tank, get Leona she's really great.

Well i sort of consider Alistar and Taric a tank, but also a support. They are basically the same, make the team members to remain alive a little longer, helping your lane patner CS and setting up kill/ganks. No?

Only difference i see between the two its the item build.

Get Leona. She's a full tank.

Taric doesn't have enough disables to be considered a tank, Leona has three.

I don't consider Kayle a good caster so you'll need more ad carries and ap carries. Furthermore it's a good idea to learn some magic damage characters outside of the regular mid lane like singed/amumu/fiddlesticks/kog maw in order to counter 4 ad idiots. I don't see why everybody is suggesting a pure tank, seeing as 2 off tanks, jungler and solo top, are more then enough to substitute that role, at least from my experience.

Only tanks worth learning are those that can effectively jangle, fill a good pseudo support role or lane well.

I don't see why Leona can't do this, she doesn't need that much farm to get tanky because of Eclipse and she has interrupts out the butt.

Get Leona. She's a massive CC bot.

Early on, I was somewhat not in a good position, but by the 10 minute mark, I turned things around and started to deny Brand the farm he needed while I just Q + E'd any minion waves that came my way.

Also, split push/global taunt Teemo OP.

And the recent patch pushed Rammus back to viability; he's now a top pick in mid ELO games. Glad to see that my favorite armadillo is rolling back in to kick ass (pun intended).
