Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword [SPOILERS]
Raph589 Wrote:I think you're speaking too much like a true hardcore gamer on this one. Most reviewers said it was "the hardest zelda since SNES", and some of them even admitted dying at some point. Do I need to remember you that pretty much all of the zelda games consisted in spamming a button until the ennemies die? Motion plus adds a whole new dimension to fighting, and I would definetely put the difficulty level in the good aspects of the game, instead of the bad ones. I agree with you though, this is still not hard enough to some people, but it is definetely a nice step up.

EDIT:
 Spoiler

That statement was more regarding the puzzle-nature of the game. The fighting was great, aside from the few mishaps you get from motion-plus. I honestly feel like the puzzles were just too easy and dungeons were just pretty linear. Don't get me wrong, they're fun as hell, but just too easy for my taste. The only dungeon that actually made be think hard was the last dungeon. If the first however many were brought up to the last's standards, this would have been a much better game. But, that would also piss many people off and only please a few. To be honest, I thought Windwaker was harder.

I know what you mean. It sure feels better to complete, say, water temple (I'm doing it right now) than the mojo tree. On the other hand, too hard dungeons can easily become annoying, especially since I'll make the "no walkthrough at all" vow for Skyward Sword. All I want is a just middle, and what you said feels like there is one.

I've never found any Zelda games' puzzles to be difficult to be honest. I've been 100%'ing them since I was a child, under 10 years old.

I don't care for puzzle difficulty (Or lack thereof), I care about the scenery, story, etc, so I'd want to know: Is this game relatively large? Would I get at least 6hours out of it? Are the environments well designed? Do they have a good ''feel'' to them? Was the story interesting at all? Is the combat fun?

Things like that, but puzzle difficulty? Not important. When you've grown up on these games, and games of this type, you don't find a challenge no matter what they throw your way. You learn to look at things a certain way, not just what's in front of you.

I've been playing Zelda games for 10 years, and I always found some puzzles way too hard, therefore had to use a walkthrough. Maybe I'm just retarded...

The only Zelda puzzles I've found hard are stuff like the puzzle to get the Master Sword in Twilight Princess. I suck at that kind of stuff. XD I eventually get it after a ton of trial and error, though.

I'm mostly like Ghost/案山子. I play it for pretty much everything else, and Skyward Sword seems to nail it perfectly.

It's shocking how much Zelda's father looks like the Owl in Ocarina of Time.

How interesting.

His name is Gaepora (the owl's name is Kaepora Gaebora).

Edit : OH DEAR GOD. Gamespot's poor review of Skyward Sword was due to the fact that the damn reviewer didn't know how the f'ucking system works.

What a bunch of f'ucktards.

The Owl had a name? Maybe it was hidden somewhere in those walls of text it used to spam at me.

I don't get the Wii remote + thingy. You don't need to point at anything for it to work? How does it work then 0.0

it's wii motion plus. It moves in the direction of your hand.

Oh, so that's why it requires "recalibrating" sometimes... Must be quite annoying.

No one who's reviewed ever had an issue with controls. I wouldn't think that Skyward Sword would need much calibration. The gamespot guy was just an idiot.
