Bleach Manga thread (SPOILERS)

There is something really bothering me about this chapter, 1 freaking page just for some dark fading until it says bleach? like seriously? sigh.

It took you 470 chapters for you to realize that Kubo takes up half to an entire page for the title and number of the chapter?

Maybe since I picked up the manga at around chapter 250 I missed a lot of that.

Honestly, Bleach is a lot more impressive to watch as an anime than it is to read as a manga. (minus gag parts)

I have a feeling he's going to bring up the soul king, and it turns out Aizen was right. Then ichigo will go and save Aizen, his father and uruhara were actually tryign to find a more subtle approach or logical way to defeat the soul king, and they all team up to defeat "God". Probably being the source of hollows as some sick twisted game or something.

What the hell is Ichigo even fighting for?

This. I've been watching the anime lately and I find that half of the episodes are fairly shitty, filled with random crap. Then suddenly, like this weeks episode (348) actually had some backstory into Giruko's (that watch-using fullbringer) fullbring that I didn't remember reading about in the manga. It was a nice surprise.

New chapter and all I can say is o_O

Nice try Ginjo, pretty bad last ditch effort to turn things in his favour though. Flaw number 1: Soul Society decided to reinstate his powers because he has proved that he is a huge asset. Flaw number 2: Captains and lieutenants have suppressed reiatsu as well, through their limit mark. It's good that Ichigo's reiatsu is sealed, or else he'd be a hollow magnet for the entire town.
Obviously Ichigo's going to accept that as a necessary evil. I mean looking at Ginjo, if Ginjo had even half of Ichigo's reiatsu, he'd try to destroy Soul Society. Ginjo proved through his own actions the necessity of the badge as a tracking and limiting device. Overall interesting chapter. Finally gives 13th squad a defined roll instead of being another footsoldier squad.

Nice use of foreshadowing from chapter 464.

The last image showing his bankai is pretty beast and it shows his old hollow form I think, or maybe its fan made dunno.

Everything you say makes sense, but It's still possible for Ichigo to think that he had been used up until now and rebel, at least for a bit. Another thing that proves right the descision to put a surveillance device on Ichigo is his hollow side, who in SS could have told if his hollow side could take him over and bl0w everything up?

Ichigo wont join Ginjo and thats for sure.. Beyond anything else, Ginjo and Tsukishima used Ichigo's family and friends to play with his mind. If anyone has really used Ichigo so far that was the fullbringers.

I feel this whole arc was created just to get around this part of the plot. It wasn't worth it

I agree with you both. I was kind of surprised this chapter went this way, but I am happy we are getting back to the fighting. I also agree that this seems like one hell of a detour, but hopefully it will be worth it in the end.

I can't see it happening really. Ichigo may have fought/disagreed with SS in the past, but they just saved his ass and have helped him a decent amount (and vice-versa). It's funny that Ichigo just went Bankai in that chapter because I was assuming that he was always in Bankai like he used to be. Ginjo was shitting himself before he powered up when Ichigo attacked him, then he starts talking pomegranate, so Ichigo Bankais. Oh man there is such a pomegranate storm coming.

Uuryu theorises that Ginjo has Ichigo's bankai as well though.

So they both bankai, ginjo realizes ichigo is stronger than he is obviously but it doesn't matter because he can do crazy stuff with his reiatsu against ichigo, but then ichigo goes hollow form and f'ucks his s'hit because ginjo can't do that.
