Pirate King's Treasure Chest

What did you get from it?

Seems to work much like Evil Spirit boxes, in that I got the better items (3 at the top of the list) from the first ~10 boxes. Opened about 40 more boxes after that, all were from the last 7 items on the list, which coincidentally are also among the Evil Spirit "lesser rewards".

Presumed premium prizes:
5% clean slate
15% accessory attack
Pirate King's Great Gold Coin (etc item that npc's for 50k meso)
Super Gold Coin (100k meso)
60% chaos
60% pet attack

Presumed lesser prizes:
60% accessory STR
level 90 warrior glove
level 90 warrior shoes
level 90 2h sword
level 90 1h sword
reindeer milk (10)
sunrise dew (10)

All untradeable except the equips.


Appears to be an inferior version of the Evil Spirit boxes, or I was just unlucky with my "premium" prizes.
The lesser prizes don't seem to include personality trait use items this time :-(

Calico Mack the Pirate King drops his little Treasure Chest when you beat em, Cassandra'll tell you where he spawns in according to your level range.

Only opened one so far, got my 10 Sunrise Dews xD

He spawns in the same maps as Eregos used to, as far as I can tell. (Cassandra only gives general areas, not the detailed map like with Eregos) I don't know how often nor during which hours of the day.

And that bit about your level - as true as it was for Eregos, meaning, utter bull. Got boxes at Golem Temple, got the scrolls out of them, too. Got the exact same boxes at ToT (they stack), all junk.

I was probably just unlucky and I'm pretty sure I was first in the area (first mobs to spawn, waited 15 seconds for late spawners) but I'm not getting Calico Mack's in all the maps I used to get Eregos, like only one out of the set. Otherwise, I'll update with items soon, full inventory at the moment. Chaos, Pet ATT, and from what I can tell those 50K Coins are a premium prize, I got three and the two aforementioned scrolls and the pots started rolling in. I haven't gotten any Trait boosters D: in 30ish so I'm hoping my first sentence is still true.

I... don't seem to be getting boxes when I kill it, any reason why? I've killed like 7 with no boxes dropped. :/

Odd... Maybe you need to accept the quest? (Quest is just Cassandra telling you about the guy)
Or maybe the level limit is enforced in certain areas? Where did you kill it?

I had the quest accepted before I started looking for it. And it can't be level restricted, my husband's 174 and hunted for him in the same areas and he got boxes every time.

Oh, fun fact, if someone KSes you, you get no drops...

The drops are visible ONLY to whoever dealt the most damage.

They had full HP.

Nevermind, though, turns out Cassandra had another quest I needed to accept, which fixed it. Out of 8 boxes, only one had a Chaos Scroll, the rest were equips or dews/milk. =|

i've found over 30 armor/accessory 60% stat scrolls from the damn turkeys so far
expect massive deflation on those

20-25m each is cheap. I was paying 35-40m for 60% Armor Int scrolls when I was scrolling my Stirgemans (still am, 1 slot left, low on cash though and 2 more Int isn't worth it atm to me). Unless you're referring to the Overall scrolls, that's what they're worth now, lol, at least Dex and Int are.

Where do turkeys actually spawn? I checked all the KFT maps, nothing doing. Even found the pirate king once.

Well, I'm finding a ton of the things with this spider familiar, so I'd feel bad about charging over 10M for them. Guess some lucky person will get a bunch of cheap scroll every night in my shop.
