Technically it'd be Eosian Enterprises, since Southperry.net is an Eosian Enterprises property, not the actual company.

I see that as a bigger problem though. Those people know even LESS about running an MMO than NEXON, if that is even possible. The ones with the money to do so will do everything in their power for the games to make them even MORE money with even less regard for us than NEXON; at least NEXON needs us, all the stockholders need is NEXON to make them a quick buck, then when it looks like they've killed the company, they will just move on.

Does anyone here hate Nexon so much and have enough cash that they would buy a bunch of shares and then sell them at ridiculously low prices so while they would lose money it'll make Nexon stocks plummet?
Screw blood diamonds .

Screw blood diamonds . "A bunch" wouldn't be nearly enough to affect their share price.

If you were to invest in this you would, without a doubt, make a killing though. I feel exactly this.
There's absolutely no doubt that Nexon, as a company, will continue to grow, but Nexon America (at least) is complete pomegranate in how they run their operation. But, hey, being a publicly traded company may cause them to eventually clean up their act, as Eos said.

Publicly traded stocks are also affected by public opinion.
Also, anyone buying enough stocks to have an actual voice won't be looking to dive in and out.
If the company continues to make an increased profit, so do the shareholders.
Real investment isn't about making a "quick buck". It's about long-term profits.

"Wait a second, why did their stocks just drop a little?"
"Crap, I have to sell my stocks before it's too late."

It's far too soon to begin worrying about how much worse it can be when we've already licked the bottom repeatedly.

I'm sorry, I'm using a realistic scenario in which the majority of traders aren't morons.
We also come back to the issue that you wouldn't possibly have enough shares to sell to cause a significant drop in the first place.

Real investment isn't about making a "quick buck". It's about long-term profits. True, but do you think those investors will know how to treat an MMO community? I'm genuinely curious; I don't know. They might handle it badly, but they might handle it really well, depending on whether or not they see the people behind the computer. Maybe they will see WoW's success and push to adopt a few of their better methods, such as "better" authentication and arguably pay2play (I say arguably because, while I think it would be a good idea, some don't).

It's highly unlikely any investor, or group of investors, will invest highly enough to be able to influence the board of directors, so it's really a moot question.
The people likely to grab this will probably do so via many many many people grabbing very few of these stocks as part of an overall collection of tech stocks.

Nexon will still make their decisions. I doubt they're dumb enough to float over half their company.

The bright side about them trading openly is that media threats become infinitely more potent because bad publicity when you're a part of the stock market leads to big drops. Just need to provide evidence of their negligence, and keep dumb kids who complain about dumb things from try taking the lead on it (IE: don't let Chameleonic go to the media regarding his banned account) because then no media outlet would take any complaint seriously and we're golden.
We're watching you, Nexon. Gonna be on you like white on rice--whatever that means.

Except, again, this is Nexon Korea.

What happens at Nexon America is still important to stock holders (actually this is the Japanese stocks so we'd probably need to get in the Japanese media. But we've got that covered too.)

The only thing I'm somewhat intrigued by would be the quarterly earnings report.
