Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread

Well aparently Teams are limited to only 5 people, you can have some substitute people in case one of them isnt online and what not.

Also a Team Captain will be the one that gets to call the shots aparently.

It seems like all they're doing is changing how "Premade 5s" works and instead of it being a 5 people each with their own independent ELO, said 5 people will have one ELO rating under their "Team".

Reminds me of Arena teams for WoW.

Nothing much to see here, just a game where i got carried hard by dat vayne and Le blanc since i proposed to do jungle but the enemy took noc before i could >.<

They ended up surrendering when we took advantage of a good push we did in mid destroying 3 towers and inhibitor, before we could finish that push the enemy went and tried to stop us but we ended up winning that team fight with Leblanc and Vayne as the solo suvirvors.

Also i took drag twice but they got Baron

Damn right, but AP Soraka has always been good. Her FOTM just fell off the map.

I played AP mid Soraka yesterday. Mid against Kennen and I farmed a ton. Q's and E's hurt like hell and my heals are so strong. Unfortunately we lost cause our team was pretty bad. Sivir didn't even farm everything/push turrets.

For the life of me I can't play lux as support.... I can only play lux as... death to squishies.

Welp, since I DO need to learn how to play a support.... I'm thinking of taking up soraka (have been meaning to for a while)... gonna have to wait til she comes around as a free week... maybe. I don't think I wanna try sona, since I'm not into her play style. Either soraka or janna....

What else counts as actual support, when people ask you to pick a support?

Soraka, Taric, Sona, Janna, and Alistar are more or less the go-to characters.
Zilean (typically solos due to sweet early game bombing?), Karma (Also a decent solo AP), Blitzcrank, Leona are also solid supports. There's talk of even playing GP and Nunu as support.

Janna's the only one I've really played, her only problem is no sustain in lane. But she packs buttfucktons of CC and that amazing ult. Clutch feelings will be had while saving squishy ass.

It's okay, I'm also horrible at playing lux support wise. I'm just used to her tons of damage and I don't even know what skills I should prioritize. I guess it can work but it requires a ton of coorperation between you and your ad carry by getting your shield right and both attacking while you bound the enemy and stuff like that. I guess it could work with for example Cait vs Vayne where while being bound vayne would be unable to do any damage. But she can also juke it more easily with tumble so it's a toss up. rambling on again....

Most viable supports are Sona, Soraka, Taric, Alistar and Janna. Odd ones are champions like Maokai, Nunu, Blitzcrank, Karma, Zilean, Lux, Morgana, Orianna, Gangplank eeh probably more I can't think of right now

Wasn't too excited over this weeks rotation, but holy sh`it Teemo is fun.

Last game I just played I thought we were gonna lose 'cos the Xin Chao kept feeding so I thought they'd be overfarmed. Not when I got to level 6 (with 0/0/0, too I think) when I started laying my mushrooms did I start getting back. They saw me run into the brush and didn't do anything. Lol. Graves and Tristina kept trying to chase me but laying traps whilst running is hilarious when they don't realise.

But not when Caitlyn and Lux attack at max attack range because they have a superior one.

This week's rotation bites lol. Even my smurf owns almost all of them.

Ahhh well I am excited for clans/teams though. I wonder if they will have us test it at all in PBE or not.
