People being hacked since the last Server Check.

Actually, I think somewhere upthread is someone saying he spoke at length with the owner of the hacked-items shop (trying to buy back a hacked friend's gear), and discovered he is working for a gold-selling site.
They are doing it for $, pure and simple. They steal meso and NX in order to sell them back to us for cold hard cash.
So, we know who, and we know why, but they will never tell how. They're not doing it for fun or for hacker pride, so they will not tire of it nor feel the need to brag on hacking boards. And since they make $ directly, they have no motivation to sell whatever they are using. About the only way that would happen is if they're working off a one-time stolen database, and exhaust their list of cracked passwords.

If they are working off of a static list, which I somehow doubt, their best move would be to use up everything on the list, THEN sell the method. "We never said the accounts had anything left on them, just that you could get into them!". Can't expect them to not be scammers too; they'll do anything for the right price.

But again, I doubt that is the case, it would not surprise me in the least if they have a working backdoor into the internal servers...there's not much else that could explain why they are able to do so much of what they are doing. Unless there are some hilariously bad examples of coding in the game that allow you to do a ton of things client-sided, which would not surprise me either.

I have been watching this carefully ever since it happened to my friend
so I've read everything on this epidemic I can find looking for any new breaking info

It breaks my Maple heart when I catch one of them in the process of hacking someone knowing that I can't do a thing to help.
This has brought me to the point where I'm considering obtaining D/C methods and using it in an effort to prevent/postpone the hacking

They seem to now be using characters they have breached that have not changed their info to set up permits/mushies along with their own characters.

Yes, you will have to log a ticket. How would Nexon know that you have been hacked without you telling them?

Even more additional information:

One of my sisters friends who got hacked a couple months ago, the hacker tried changing the email on the account so he / they could take full control of the account. We discovered this last night when we tried using his account as a PvP mule for emblem farming. I tried logging into the account and got the message that the account was deactivated due to improper access of the account, which was triggered by them requesting 4 email changes within 24 hours.

This was fairly recent too. We used his account last Monday night (10/31) and he got locked out sometime between then and Saturday Night (11/5).

Alright so some days back I bought an elemental wand (lv70 blue one), and today I checked the inventories/bank on all of my characters and it's not there. I bought it for around 45mil so it's not much of a loss but it's still sort of sketchy. None of my other stuff were messed with (chairs, mesos, etc).

This is why I left MS over 9 months ago. The state is in shambles. All of Nexon needs to get fired and replaced with competent people who care about delivering quality MMO experience and customer service.
