Current situation of Chaos Zakum/Horntail?

Since I haven't played basically since these two bosses came out, I remember it was pretty common to see Chaos Zakum Helmets and Chaos HTPs in the FM when these bosses first came out, but now I rarely see the helmets, and I haven't seen a single pendant for sale ever since I started playing again, which is already a couple weeks.

Are these bosses just not hunted anymore? Hoarded by hackers? This is on GMS Windia, btw.

CHT has strict requirements and Czak...well...you're just not looking hard enough.

dunno about windia, but as for scania, there's a certain channel where people sell their HT pendants.

CHT is a different business, as TB said, it's... hard to obtain one.

i dont see as many czak helms in windian fm these days. theyre still there, but i think a lot of runs have been abandoned because my alliance runs never have to wait for the altar any more. could just be because czak went back to the pre-bb hell mode after ascension patch.

CHT is hard cuz of zombiefy ... not so much with czak...

One of the big problems is the NX needed to sell these items. In khaini its like 1:60 ratio so you are looking at 240mill to for just the PSOK, then you have to make it profitable for your runners to encourage them to come, also you have to have someone willing to be HELM MULE and never get a Czak helm. And as was said above CHT's requirements are extremely constricting to there being many CHTP on the market, not to mention the sign up issues.

The supply of most boss drops was lowered drastically once Ascension came. Everything is automatically agro'd, so it makes things a little more difficult.

That's kind of his point lol.
Back when they were glitched, anyone could solo the bosses, so the output of the boss drops greatly increased. Now that they were fixed due to Jump!, the output dropped back down again.

I don't know if my personal experience pertains to the whole maple population in general but a lot of my friends who I used to czak with around the time when it first came out have either quit and moved on to other games or been hacked. The rest of the people who are able to take down czak are either wearing a unique czak helm themselves so they can't loot to sell or hindered by the high nx ratio.

CHT is even harder since you'll have to gather enough people to go.
