Not gonna happen. If edo tense ends now madara AND the six paths of pain will all end and there will only be tobi left.

But...I wonder. It'd be cool if the six paths were brought back like how nagato did it. Although since kabuto was shown to already summon them it would be a plothole for them to not be edo's.

Umm as i recall, the 6 paths are all the previous junchurriki, and they died when their bijuu were removed from their bodies. So yes, they are definitely dead and couldn't just be brought back to life (as far as I understand). Thus Edo Tensi could easily be ended if Itachi puts his mind to it.

Btw, when you said Jiraya had his physical attacks and moves from sage mode, he was never able to fully master sage mode, so although he is powerful, he isn't anywhere near Naruto's level. Putting Jiraya's sage mode on the level of a huge meteor, wind rasengan, or the Sword of Totsuka doesn't seem right to me :/

But technically Kabuto summoned those Edo jinchuriki so they're under his command. So it'd be gay if Itachi broke edo tensei before they got to fight.

Eh about Jiraiya. He did some sick pomegranate in Sage Mode. http://www.mangareader.net/93-382-13/nar...r-377.html Bear in mind, Naruto uses Fox chakra AND clones to make those big Rasengans. (Not gonna prove it in this post unless you ask me too). Jiraiya did that Rasengan completely by himself. I don't think he used Sage chakra for the Rasengan, but I do think he used Sage Chakra to move so quickly for that Rasengan to connect.

I also consider Jiraiya's Sage Mode to be stronger but less...Effective. His Sage Mode ALWAYS makes use of the two elder toads, and because they're there he still gets full physical benefits (+ their help). But he hasn't shown the full extent of sage mode, AKA Naruto using Sage Mode to track chakra's and tell him when to move out of 3rd Raikages one finger Chidori. Drawback, but still the physical strength of Sage Mode.

Jiraiya did that Rasengan completely by himself. I don't think he used Sage chakra for the Rasengan, but I do think he used Sage Chakra to move so quickly for that Rasengan to connect.

I'm pretty sure he used sage chakra to make the rasengen. What would be the point of transforming and then not using the stronger attacks from sage chakra? Not to mention that sage chakra is mixed with your normal chakra continously, it would be a ridiculous extra amount of effort to NOT use a sage mode attack by forcibly only using 2/3 of your mix of chakra and ignoring the sage part just to make your attack weaker
Even more so, he threw away his shoes and his feet/hands turned more into frog form, which suggests to me that he drew more sage chakra right before he did that attack.

Unlike naruto he couldn't draw sage chakra any other way than having the elder toads, thats a massive downside, not an upside, he has to plantain around trying to summon the two elder toads which took him significant effort, naruto just has to pop a clone somewhere then poof it. And saying he gets help from the elder toads jutsu is completely redundant, theres absolutely nothing stopping naruto having the two sit on his shoulders and just not channeling chakra into him.

Theres no assuming he could even do the other things you mentioned, if he could sense chakras, he'd have known the summoning pain called for the extra 3 bodies just before he used his genjutsu.

Naruto is better at using sage mode than jiriya, the frogs even tell him such, its why only his eyes change, whereas whole parts of jiriyas body transformed into a frogs, even though he wasn't even the one having to draw the chakra.

I wasn't talking about that. I understand how Pain brings things back to life by using his chakra emitters and all that, however, Tobi is not Pain and does not have the same way of controlling them with the chakra emitters (as far as I can remember, I'm too lazy to go back and check for the pages where Kishi shows them). So if Itachi, who is one pineappleing beast ass dude, wants to genjutsu Kabuto and make him end the Edo Tensi (the only way it can viably be ended) I really wouldn't say it was "gay" or unfair. At the same time, I doubt the manga will go that path because after all the hype of having to fight Tobi + paths has been set up, it would certainly be anticlimatic to just end the jutsu and then just have to fight a weakened Kabuto and Tobi.

Can't say for sure though, hence why I keep saying that we will just have to wait and see.

Also, I don't think Naruto was able to master Sage Mode because of the Kyuubi's chakra. By that logic, Naruto is only good at everything he can do because of the Kyuubi. While we know he can only perform to the extent he can because of the Kyuubi, to say that the Kyuubi was the reason he could master sage mode or the rasengan would be pretty ridiculous.

So, it's almost certain that Itachi is going for Kabuto, right? Kabuto can't simply release the technique thanks to Itachi being free from his control? Or am I wrong?
