Hello all. I decided I would try and liven up my favorite forum with a simple game loosely based on one played in real space.
Players are divided into two teams, Red and Blue or whatever you want to call yourselves. The premise is simple: You all are essentially a bunch of Dittos, and each round you morph into one of Giant, Wizard, or Dwarf. These three are related as follows:
Giant beats Dwarf.
Wizard beats Giant.
Dwarf beats Wizard.
Given this, you want to eliminate all the members of the opposing team.
The mechanics go as follows. First, PM me with the being you want to morph into. Once all actions are in, I pair each player from the smaller team with a random player from the larger team, and compare. Whoever loses in each pair is eliminated from the game. (In general, the teams won't always be the same size, so there will be some leftover players. Any alternative suggestions about what to do with them are welcome.)
Last team standing wins.
Communication is allowed. Attempts at teamwork are encouraged, if you think there exists a strategy better than random guessing
So. Who wants to play?
