I'm fine with quitting on my own terms, however, -I- personally don't like being told when I can or can't play. I refuse to quit MapleStory just to play another video game, THAT just doesn't make any sense.

Are there any other companies out there with this many network problems? Even dragon nest has had multiple crashes in just the few weeks I've played it. At one point, one of the servers was down for like 3 days....

This is the only company I've seen with it this bad.

This might be a good time to remind everyone about The Consumerist - http://consumerist.com/2010/03/nexon-isn...-good.html

Why not tell them about the problems?

All their games down for a half-day, and counting, just to recover from a power interruption (if that's really what it was)? Wow.

Back when I used to play Gunbound, Softnyx wasn't very on top of things either. Another Korean company lol.

I'm guessing no other company would keep their customers uninformed for over 12 hours either.

Thanks for the link, I will certainly email The Consumerist.

At this point one can just hope that they found out the security hole which was affecting ALL their servers (and games) and that they are trying to fix it.

Yeah.

Right.

I think you're giving nexon too much credit. A gentle breeze could take nexon's servers down, doesn't require a deliberate or malicious attack.

[GM automatedspampomegranade]: Disappointed with our poor service? Occupy Maple Street

No really. That 1 single message makes me think that they are joking over why people aren't having huge protests already.

Hime actually said that? :f6:

Wow. She must be getting frustrated.
