It's probably just a matter of high elo players trying him out again, him being a really old champion and all that. You can pretty much bet this is what's happening if Dark Link says this.

Had a sion that built zerk shoes and 2 Warmogs.... our team got destroyed. It was stupid. I was playing as lux... I don't have THAT much burst to put a decent enough dent in that... If we ignored him... he'd just super heal his team mates during a team fight T.T

I think his base AS and base mana/mana per level was bumped up.

Just beat him in lane. The longer you delay his build up of AP, the better.

And why exactly not? I'm really curious to this, as I carried a ton of games as Lux.

Because Lux isn't a consistent source of damage, she lets pomegranate out in huge bursts, and with the cooldowns, it's next to impossible to carry with her unless you're facing a team that doesn't know what it's doing. I play with my 1500 ELO friend a lot, and he reels in some real tough people sometimes. Even with that, I can be like 6-0-2 with Lux at the 20 minute mark, and upwards of 10 kills towards late-game, but even with all that, you just can't carry with her. This is just from my experience though.

So i lost a game due to two idiots that started a fight in champion select because the last one didnt pick a support champ, so what did they do? They swaped and both jungled like pineappleing idiots

Also went against a brand that mostly bought Doran rings and HP pots during laning O.o

I don't really know how you define the word carry but if the other team clusters up I can hit them all for a huge amount of damage and if they split apart their carries are pretty easy to combo down before they put out any damage, while I can still help my team utility wise. Morgana doesn't have consistent damage either but I haven't seen anyone doubt her role as ap carry yet. Not to mention that with a lichs bane your damage is pretty consistent to me, especially with the 40% cdr you should build as a Lux.

And why would I be the only one left in a teamfight? Unlike most other ap carries, all my normal skills defend my team. Not to mention that Lux can push a minion wave like almost no other with her ultimate and her E and she can hit a tower for a ton of damage with a lichs bane proc. So if I understand you correctly you can also not carry with any other ap mid? Because they can't damage towers well? Really?

Are you aware this is a team game? If I kill one of their team with a combo burst we can proceed to win a 5v4 team fight in which more of us are likely to survive after which we can go bash those turrets you find so important. Lux is one of the better champions for this then lets say anivia because Lux has Lichs bane as a core item (I usually get it right after deathcap/sorcerers) and she can shield anything that would tank the turret if no minion wave is present. She can also push minion waves from a great distance and well up close to. I define carrying as being a large influence on the victory of the game. Lux is a great asset for this as she can Push, Burst, Teamfight, Support and Snipe amazingly. The only things she lacks, well the way I build her at least, are tanking and 1vs1ing tanky dps's, but she has excellent survival tools so running away or evading getting hit isn't that difficult.

Playing a little v AI game with Anivia, tearing sh`it up like usual.

Saw 3 AI v the Amumu so I run over there to help him, by the time I got there Master Yi teleported in. I KS'd one of them from him and I apologised and I got "don't ask sorry go away". Lol? Didn't purposefully KS anyone else that game and still ended up 22/0/x

People are obsessed with kills in bot games. It's stupid. I got trash talked and reported because I wasn't "being a team player". I'm sorry if I was too strong looool.
Part of the reason I stopped playing bot games altogether.

Since my brother will probably get me RP for my birthday, I might consider a summoner name change. Especially with the name clean-up thing riot just did. Just don't know to what.
