Here's the replay with Surprise Party Fiddlesticks in action[/URL]! He's freaking awesome, worth every dollar I spent on him. Though don't mind the many mistakes I made throughout the game, that's something I have to work on since I haven't touched Fiddles for a couple of weeks.

I had a ton of fun with xerath. Knowing how much you love koggles, I think you might want to give him a go.

You need to read a bit more.

I already had a thornmail. There were ZERO AP carries. Cho was their tank... he posed almost no threat.
They were 4 AD +Cho.


Before getting the 2nd FH I had:

Tear, Sorcs, FH, Thornmail.


I'm not saying FH was the best choice for a 5th item. But against 4 AD carries, the main threat of which had a LW, I needed more armor... I decided to get more mana while I was at it. The wasted gold meant nothing... I had TONS to spare.

Then get a Randuin's and watch them not attack anymore.

Yes, but your definition of "aggressive" probably differs from Riot's...

Hey guys, been a while.

 Burst+Stun Team

Everyone on our team was really bursty and had at least 1 stun. Game went really well.
We excelled at picking them off one by one, our rotation was sion q, blitz q, then my rotation and the three of us pretty much killed everyone like that.

Leaning towards Kennen or Riven...I think Graves' burst is going to get nerfed soon and I love Kennen and Riven's mobility. And MF is to spam laugh all day.

His Q seems awful. Maybe you could call me a baddie at skillshots, but I wasn't enjoying Xerath when I tried him out.

In lane I found it easy to just sit far away and W+Q if I couldn't land Q by itself. Usually enemies don't see it coming because it's such a long range.
Then there's his ult which is amazing spam burst. Smartcast with Xerath for epic win.

I thought that too, but it can still hit hard with the mpen from his w.
Though I still don't think its very good to have to balance spells around your other spells :/

xerath Q its only awful due to the CD (9/8/7/6/5) but thats why i build CDR on him alot.

His W takes priority after his Q since you want to reduce that massive CD (From 18 to 5 secs iirc) asap.

His E could be either left to last or level along side his W, depends on how good you are landing it (Since the range isnt that good sadly, but its point and click)

His R its almost necesary for him to do anything, since its what gives him most of his burst (His Q are somewhat hard to land since those have a 0,5-1sec delay (His R its somewhat along that line 0.35 i think)).

All in all, hes pure range but his burst is lacking and you could say Crap if is R its on CD, but running skills agains 1 person its pretty good (I remember playing this one TT game where a tryn had a lot of trouble trying to kill me early game-mid game, and chasing was easily countered with pure E-Q since he was after me and such)

Mmmmm dunno what else to say about him.

Also: Reading the LoL forums, i caught a post by morello saying some little things he didnt like about xerath:

While this is a little "doomsday" in the problems you speak about, I think there's a few takeaways we're looking to change:

* Passive: Xerath doesn't actually need this passive, and instead should focus on one that emphasizes ranged play. We'll be making this change in the next couple patches.

* Seige Mode: Should not lock you down - that's an unusable character in LoL. Using it to pulse one long-range spell or to set up for a longer barrage is fine. It gives it multiple ways to use it, which I'm fine with.

* Stun: If we do remove the passive, he'll never survive a real teamfight without this. Mages need CC and/or mobility to function. If we remove the free tankiness, this will apply even more.

I appreciate the feedback (always!), but I'm generally happy with Xerath's design other than his passive, which we're going to change. I think the difference between "man, I wish this were better" and "THIS IS THE WORST wtpFFF" is pretty wide

Should probably level E and Q over W to do more deeps in lane. pineapple the seige mode till teamfights.
