Original Dragon Nest Thread
Wow... just tried cerberus hell and it is CRAZY. My first time actually wiping in a dungeon lol. He only had half of his last bar left =(

yah normal mode is a joke. I think mino nest is actually harder than normal cerberus

Hell Mode is next.

Just Made: (Gauntlet received from first Cerb Run)

damn man grats on solo! What's your phys range?
I retract my "Hell Mode Next" statement.

It's traumatizing.
I'll be lucky enough to survive hell mode with a group.

Calling the pineapple squad to help me: Jon, Ron, and HP.
Jon and Pie would be your best bet \o/.

If you remember, my gear is garbage! Big Grin
but I need a sacrifice =(. One who will take damage for us.
How do you have one person tank an AoE ultimate.

>Asking a sorc to tank lolol
When would this run be? I'll do it.
5pm pst?
I'll try to make it.
Just did Normal and Hell mode. Only died once in Hell mode without even reading up on it.

GIVE ME BETTER DROPS CERBY. ;_;
I missed the special skill plate =( in hell mode
Don't worry. My friends missed 32A Fierce/Destructive plates, lol. Takes 11 stamps to unbind the special skill plate. ;__;

Sigh, almost made it to lvl 32 on the alt ― almost hit 31, wouldn't have made it even if I didn't go to Cerb. I'm a little peeved because the times I could play on the weekend/Monday?, Argenta was down. More reason for me to focus on the one character while I have other stuff going on, I guess.
Rusty, for PvP gear doesn't matter (except in ladder) so you can go grab a level 5 hammer from npc if you wanted. Only thing that would matter is any crafted bonuses like windswept/brutal.

I don't like cerb hell. Someone already solo'd it though without dying (picture of achievement) so it isn't too bad. It'll probably be really easy once people get used to its animations and such. I remember first mino runs with 4 people everyone died 5 times and didn't beat it. If you can dodge (From perspective that you're looking at cerberus)

- right head goes down, meaning fire wall is coming, huge damage
- middle head does lightning attack
- left head does blizzard, but if you keep moving, you wont' be hit unless you're in a party and you stack

you can probably beat it. Other attacks aren't that bad, but it just gets easier with practice. Gear also helps since less time fighting = less chance of dying
the skills I have a problem with are that huge AoE dark lightning attack and when he uses his ice field followed by the fireball
In Hell Mode he really just keeps spamming his ultimate attacks. That's basically all he'll do, one after another.

It reminds me of another game I play where the ''challenge'' from bosses is the fact their damage is over 9000, yet everything else is still relatively easy. Honestly, Cerberus Nest Hell Mode was still easy until Cerberus himself. The only time I thought, ''Oh man, we might not get this done'' before that was when we had to kill Dumb and Dumber within 3seconds of each other. Normally not hard, but we had a high-out-of-his-mind party member apparently.

Ron, Pie, I think the Stoned Wonder was hindering our party. We definitely need to rematch Hell Mode.
the trash leading up to the boss is always easy lol

Can't wait till Arch Bishop, or Sea Dragon.

There ain't no trash in them places.
