Epic Potential Scrolls

Do you use it on clean items or items that are already "Rare?"

Does it have a success rate? If it's 100%, then...wow. These 100% Potentials just became so much more valuable in my eyes.

no, it makes the item turn epic on first reveal, as you can't use potential scrolls on items that are pre-potential'd.

Bolded portions seems to contradict each other. Let me try to get this, is it...

1. Unpotentialed item-->Use regular potential scroll-->"Rare" item-->Use Epic potential scroll-->"Epic" item
2. Unpotentialed item-->Use epic potential scroll-->"Epic" item

The first one is what I derived from your first answer and the second is what I think you're saying in your second answer.

You can only use one potential scroll if it succeeds on an item. Not twice so #1 is incorrect.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up. From many blogs that I looked at, they all said it turned "Rare" items into "Epic" items.

And from what I can collect, they came from trading in 30 pieces of Master Miracle Cube Fragments (for an 80% one) or from the Legendary Music Boxes (for a 100% one). Is that correct?

Wow that's awsome, do the epic potential scrolls blow up your item if they fail?

I wonder how those Epic Potential Scrolls work.

By that, I mean are the potential stats kept and scaled up (as in, rare 3% stat -> epic 6% stat), or is the item set to hidden potential and you are given completely random epic potential stats?

It just has the name "Epic Potential Scroll", it doesn't actually give potential. Just upgrades an item from Rare -> Epic.

ibf new UNIQUE potential scroll and then LEGEND potential scroll that cost 10 k NX... in GMS is 25k NX and MSEA is 125 k NX
