30 games of solo ranked at the last month is hardly conclusive of my final elo. Even then, it's not to say some people may evolve. I'm of the opinion that constant attention to LoL is required to reach full potential.

Just got to go through one of those great ryze moments:

Enemy cait was fed like hell... so were 1 or 2 others. She melted almost everyone on my team easily. We went in for a 4 man push after SOMEHOW having won a team fight (pretty sure it was cause cait wasn't there). As we push up, my team mates fight those who respawned... and I notice cait coming from below us. I move to intercept.

I snare her and unload, and she auto attacks me to death.... hers.

I had: Tear, sorcs, Frozen heart, Frozen Heart, Thornmail, Raduin's Omen.
I'm pretty sure at this point, Thornmail is damaging her more than her attacks are damaging me... I would've grabbed a 3rd Frozen heart (moar mana <3) but I wanted to try out the Omen.

Oh also their team had 4 AD + cho.

but it's still 99 armor and 500 mana for ryze... stacking them doesnt sound so bad against a full AD team when playing ryze

I remember this game (Well yesterday game ) that the enemy team soraka and ryze bought frozen hearts, w/e they where near i was being slowed to a crawl on my ASP and i didnt pineappleing like it (I had like 1.7asp)

Also some other enemy bought a warden mail for the funzies (Yeah we were a little AD heavy >.<)

It most certainly is. Both the passive effect and the CDR are unique.

Zhonya's -> 100 AP, Frozen Heart -> 500 mana (makes frozen heart do more damage with his Q spell which is also his main damage spell)

The only added perk Zhonya's has is the Active which isn't that useful since you're gonna be trying to do consistent damage on ryze. Frozen Heart is also like 300g cheaper iirc.

Maybe a Rod of Ages would've been better since armor gets less useful when you have more of it, and the RoA adds a lot of HP and a lot of damage. Or maybe even a Will of the Ancients but I guess that depends on your team comp and such.

Anything but a second frozen heart its good.

Also: Stupid people going tanky with chars that dont have good sources of damage in Dominion (Aka Leona >.>). Also a leona going solo in everything when shes only good with another person *facepalm*

He had randuins already. Also there are limited sources for mana.


Somewhat related question: Does Frozen Heart's passive stack with Glacial Shroud's passive? Does Archangel's Staff's passive stack with Tear of the Goddess' passive? I've been assuming no but is that true?

As long as its not the same item, any unique passive can stack with a similar unique passive from another item. Derp didnt read the part of the tear/manamune/Archangel read kaitiji post for that.

Thornmail its a good option if they really are full AD, or Randuin/Warden mail if you want to futher cripple the enemy ASP.

If you want AP then go with something that gives AP

If you want mana you go with something that gives mana

If you want Hp you go with something that gives HP.

If you want both Mana and Armor, be happy with only one frozen heart and then Focus on either one or the other, its not exactly necesary to go "Hybrid" to win against a full AD team since its so retarded easy to counter if that were the case.
