SP Browser Crashing
#1
When opening certain threads, such as:
http://www.southperry.net/forums/showthread.php?t=4998
My entire browser nearly instantly closes. I've tried this with FF/IE same results.

No clue what is causing this, the same threads had worked the day before. =/
I'll try to find other threads that do the same.

Well, Fiel did say on the IRC when he opens his thread on what he listens too, it crashes.

This one.

Might it have something to do with Devil's Sunrise's sig having a flash app in it? Try viewing other threads she(?) has a post in and see if you get the same result.

Edit: apparently it's java, not flash, which has a higher likelihood of being the culprit

Weird, since I use IE, and I don't have any problem at all.

Well, no, but I am experiencing the problem I parenthesized in that thread. And it seems to be only happening on certain threads. Sometimes the 'New Posts' button is bugged too...

I believe it is a Java app? (as of now). But I don't get any crashes or problems, just a tidbit of lag.

Yup, that thread crashes for me too. I'll check with more posts by Nikkey. =/

EDIT: Yup, it's Nikkey's posts, lol.

NoScript blocks his signature, so I've never even seen it. Haha

Just update your Java Runtime Environment and you'll be fine.

@Kyle: Nikkey's signature basically generates different worlds and jobs for people to be in so they don't spam the forums with "OMG WICH WOLD??"

Or just remove my sig. That also works.

Edit: Can I use it if I create a flash-version of the same pomegranate?

It will be ok. Actually, it's not your fault. People have to update their Java Runtime Environment. I didn't got any crash when you had this signature, and I'm using Firefox.

I can just use an older version of JDK to compile with though, because I assume some people won't bother to upgrade, and it's not like you should be forced to update your Java if you're coming here. I didn't notice any lag at all though, and the file's like 10kb in size (with JRE 6 update 7)
