GMS Server Status Discussion < 10-31-2011

I've added a safety to the server so that it checks every few minutes from now on to verify the daemons are reachable and take steps to correct it if it's not.

Course the only way to know it works is to have everything die again and it figure it out and fix it.

seems like the first mid-day serverwide drop that I've seen...they are starting to go down now, I just lagged out on gali.

Isn't that always the way it goes. Watch it, nothing happens. Build a watcher for it, nothing happens. Turn your back and assume it's all working, every implodes.

it would be, if i didn't suffer small lags every so often, i've DIED at zak with my DrK after ascension. and gotten GM police'd twice on my white knight.

yep, sometimes it goes away though, then JQ's are as easy as pie, but there's ALWAYS that one right at the end that makes you walk off the platform, not even jumping.

It's funny because I always seem to lag at the right moment whenever trying to use a star to jump through the last part that it misses me completely even when I'm right on top of it.

I thought we were through with periodic lag, but I guess not.

Back when I was toading, I found that jq room to, in general, be a laggy room. Especially when you get to the stars, but overall laggy.

my friend got dcd a few times from these huge lag spikes, but the 4th or 5th time he ended up getting banned. >.>

Well, they broke homesteads in Mabinogi right now, so they're duping farm-products like mad because anything taken out returns immediately.

and broa 15 crashed too, they seem to do this before every patch it seems
