MS doesn't work.
#1
Hi guys.
I have a serious problem and I hope that someone will help me.
When I'm trying to enter the game, the screen goes Black and then I get this error-message:

If you can't see it, click here.

Hopefully I'll get help here. Wink

Thanks in advance,
- tuxWishful.

Edit: Btw, I have looked at Google and so, found out that this error caused because out of Video Card memory, but I have 256MB of Video Card (ATi Radeon 9600+ Pro with 256MB of Memory) - That means it's not actually the problem.

Edit #2: I have looked deeply into it and found out that the problem caused by Un-updated drivers. I have updated my drivers and now I can play nothing but MS. This is kinda sucks. When I'm trying to run another game I just get a crash (BSOD). Nexon's really sucks at programming, ah? :X

What other games specifically? It could be that the other games are too "old" and not compatible/playable with the new upgrade.

Also, when did this problem happen? It wasn't just you using it one day then the next ms stopped working, right?

Let's say that I'm playing MS from the beginning of the beginning, the beta itself. It worked fine until the last Disk formating (just changed the Windows, XP to XP, exactly the same thing).

The other games are: World of Warcraft (definitely better graphics than MS, lol, + I can run it almost at Best graphic settings), I'm playing Counter Strike Source aswell, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas at Best graphic settings and so on.

Is there any chance that driver upgrade would requier a new PSU (Power supplyer)?
Just thought about it, maybe there is no enough power for the Graphic Card so that caused the BSOD.. :X

I don't think its a power supply problem because if it can run games like WoW before the upgrade, it should be able to run it after the upgrade. Seeing how its an UPgrade.

But due to the disk formatting, is your computer custom made or store bought? If store bought, you might've deleted some built in drivers that was used to run ms before. If you have a compaq/HP computer, then you can just search the model of your computer on their official site and re-download some of the lost drivers.

If custom made, potentially, the same issue. Except the drivers will be coming from the motherboard disk and/or graphics card installation disk.

edit: Actually this is more ideal for "fixing" ms, but seeing how you upgraded already, im not sure if it can "fix" your other games.

I have downgraded the driver so I can run the other games, I've used the Drivers Disk that comes with the Graphic Card itself in order to do that. My compute is custom made.
