That alt account I mentioned that hardly lost anything in comparison to my main ended up getting a fair bit more value in the compensation. The max level on that account is lvl 35 and it got an old white maple bandana (untradable), 3 advance potential scrolls, 3 glove attack scrolls, and a bunch of crap lvl 30 warrior equips clean. Considering this "scaling", it is unfair both ways since the loss differences are way too different across the board for this. I mean hell, after NPCing the crap equips, I had practically gotten back everything I had actually lost on that account.

Now for the flip side, my main account hacked this year has gotten nothing yet. And this accommodation is definitely not worth coming back for.

It appears that the cutoff for Timeless equips was level 160 as one of my brothers only got Reverse at level 157.

Fun story, on that note.
The one with the 160+ character logged on to check if he got compensation since he was hacked as part of the mass breach in 2009 only to find that his character's PAC, Unique bottom, and possibly about a million mesos (he's not certain whether that account actually had much money) were all gone.
They actually left quite a bit that they probably should have taken, and, oddly, assigned two mounts to his keyboard (that's the only reason he was sure someone else accessed his account).

I wonder if that qualifies him for a second worthless package.

Seriously, the lack of NX compensation is pathetic, and I hope someone sues Nexon's ass off.

I think they should just make a collaborative "sorry for sucking for the past 6-7 years" package for all regular players, which comes with but is not limited to; 1M MP, reintroduction of permanent cash shop fashion, introduction of direct meso purchase for any non permanent items at a 1meso:1nx rate, infinite boss kills per day, and free 20x exp 24/7 forever. Also, instance grinding maps for every single map in the goddamned game. That might be a decent start, but by no means would put them totally back into a good light in my eyes.

Seeing as not only will none of those happen, but the best we can really hope for will be them throwing a bone at the begging dog, so to speak, and giving us 5K MP or some crap, and MAYBE a 2 hour 2x event for one day, if we beg even more, I think it's safe to say this game is dead to me. My body is not ready for all them p2p games next year. Hell, I'll probably even save money in the long run, even if I have 3 different monthly subscriptions.

I on the other hand have absolutely no problem pointing out that an item that was valuable due to having been rare that was suddenly gifted to several hundred thousand players is probably not going to be so valuable now. If anything the people who had one before this just got screwed by the mass devaluation on top of the people who got them getting screwed. Nexon likes doubling up.

Try reading that again, *nobody* got a full timeless set. In fact, we didn't even get a partial timeless set. We got two sets of timeless weapons and scrolls to break them, plus reverse copies of those same weapons and a hodgepodge of reverse and other gear.

You say this is more than they've given in the past, but that's BS. We've seen them completely restore entire accounts before.
This is what they want to give as their new auto-response to hackings, and it's not enough, especially for as long as some of us have waited.

Hell, I'd be affronted if this was what they gave me 15 minutes after having been hacked, because it's not at all suitable to my personal account, nor likely the majority of accounts in my level range, which was supposedly the whole point. If people don't tell them they've gotten it wrong, they're going to continue happily thinking they're doing a favor by giving us crap.

Let me put this in perspective. I was already wearing a full reverse set when I was hacked, as well as a targ. That set, along with my targ were just about the only things left on my account. How the pineapple do a bunch of equips WORSE than what I already have help me in any way? My range dropped about 15k thanks to this hacking and none of what they gave me helps me with that issue. It doesn't replace the staff that cost hundreds on it's own, or the grand in cubes I spent getting it and my other stolen equips to good potential. What's the point in asking me what I lost when the only thing I get back is a joke of a compensation that's topped of with a great and wonderful pile of power elixers? It's just a slap in the face, and I'm sorry you don't get that.

Please tell me what you want Nexon to give you then.

So I guess ss' of my equipment from 2 years ago, every piece missing mean nothing. Also in the past nexon didn't have accountability, now they release they do and give us items that can't be used accept for a one time cause. And over a year time? Yeah they could review it case by case by that point, I even explained the method I got hacked, and they disregarded it.

Lastly LMFAO you're worried about nx ratio when it's 100:1? Gtfo if anything we NEED nx deflation. And what would have been more satisfactory? Purple surfboards, lunchboxes, and whatever equips that are the best options besides the 140/130. My scenario was different based solely off the information I could provide, yet I was treated like everyone else. A glance would have sufficed, over the period of being ignored for more than a year. So honestly, better than nothing, I might as well have nothing at this point, I could just buy 100k nx and gain 100x more than I was given by a company's incompetence. No loss for me though, this game's for masochists clearly.
