On October 18th, Corn issued a clarion call to action: Occupy Henesys! The goal stated was to gather over 9000 disgruntled Maplestory players in the front lobby of Maya's house in Henesys, Victoria Island to begin a popular occupation of that space. Inspired by the popular assemblies of in Ossyria and Ludibrium those who gathered will work to find a common voice in one clear, unified demand.
Technology like the Sleepywood and Basilmarket has made it easier than ever before for trainers to stay in close contact and assist one another in achieving a collective goal. Our aim is to make these tools available so our users--the true masters of this region--can make an occuptation of Victoria Island successful.
The sovereign people of any region have the power, the right, and the duty of guiding the destiny of their region. Most just do not realize this. An organizer brings the process to realization.
Why occupy Henesys? Because it belongs to us! Because we can!

Here is a tentative list of demands that those gathered in Maya's house have suggested and voted on. It by no means covers every ill in our game but it's a good start.
We the people of Occupy Henesys demand that for Nexon to stop banning us unfairly.
We the people of Occupy Henesys demand that Nexon to hire better staff.
We the people of Occupy Henesys demand that fat cats like Hime- and those like her be required to pay more of a fair share of their taxes to support those who are not as well off as they are.
We the people of Occupy Henesys demand that evil minded Nexon to be regulated so that we would spend less cash on cash shop items.
We the people of Occupy Henesys demand that the game not only be free of charge but... wait that one's pretty good as is thank you.
We the people of Occupy Henesys demand that the many GMs that have consistently abused their power, beating helpless innocent protesters without provocation or warning be brought to justice and stand trial for their abuses of power and crimes against the most basic human rights.
We the people of Occupy Henesys demand that Maplers everywhere be freed from the oppressive, vulgar, violent slavery known as "addiction to miracle cubes", and that NX Cash be banned throughout this fair region.
Basil is not a drug. It's natural man.
We the people of Occupy Henesys demand that this Region's ban on heterosexual marriage be lifted, so that all gays like Eos and Daku and FrozNite and Mark everywhere may freely breed with whatever person they fall in love with, regardless of gender.
We the people of Occupy Henesys demand that the ban on the sale, possession, or distribution of Medical Basil be ended immediately so that hundreds of thousands of lives will be saved and needless suffering will be eased.
