Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread

Anyways, anyone up for some ranked 5s this weekend? We had a decent team the last time we did normal 5s. Obviously we're going to play a normal game before we do it lol

Tbh with you (and no offence to anyone), rank premade 5s are COMPLETELY different than normal 5 premades. You need excellent coordination in order for this to work, or else it epic fails entirely. Which means that using VoIP clients (Skype, Mumble, TeamSpeak, Ventrilo) is a strong recommendation for quick communication between teammates (instead of typing shyt out and potentially getting instagibbed by enemies while you're doing so)

Also, I'm not so sure if some of us peeps are ready for playing ranked at all. You can do shenanigans in normals and getting away with it cleanly; in ranked, that will cost you dearly (and that's a well-known fact). Which means that when you do 5 man premade ranked, you have to put your game face on or its GG. And tbh I don't have confidence towards some people here because I'm not so sure about how their skill level would fare in ranked.

Just my two cents. Not attacking anyone here in any way or form directly or explicitly, just stating my true honest opinion.

I did a premade 5 ranked with a group of my IRL friends 2 weeks ago, and it worked well, simply because we had good coordination (made use of VoIP heavily) as well as pre-determined team composition.
