Chest Item List

When you buy your scroll, that meso doesn't just poof. Do you see that little avatar in the top left portion of the shop? (Assuming it's a permit) Yeah, that's the shop owner. guess what happens to your mesos when you buy the scroll inside his shop? I'll give you a hint: It doesn't vanish into another dimension.

Here's my Maple Trade Cycle again, in paragraph format:

Mesos is used to buy a glove attack scroll, costing very little loss in mesos. The glove attack scroll is moved into MTS, where it is bought using NX, costing slightly more than the previous transaction, but still only slight.
From here, the NX can travel in two directions:
1) It can be used to buy more items in MTS, where the "slight" tax will eventually build up.
2) NX gained by the original seller is spent on items in the Cash Shop, where it basically disappears.

To sum down:
Mesos ~> NX ~> Cash Item
= Mesos ~> NX ~> Disappear
= Mesos ~> Disappear

Think of the glove attack as a catalyst. It doesn't matter where the items go, it matters where the mesos go.

Sorry Harrison but,

X buys 60%Scroll from Y for 5mil mesos.
X puts 60% into MTS
Z buys X's MTS scroll for 1200NX
Z uses 60% scroll.
Y still has 5mil (ish) mesos.

Please do, because I am having trouble seeing how mesos "dissappear" out of the server other than through taxes/npcs. Every other case mentioned has losing mesos/gaining item >>>> gaining mesos/losing item. The mesos are changing hands but are still floating around the system.

Oh screw this. Now I see that it only takes NX out of the system. >.>
(w/ each transaction of the MTS, a little more than 10% is taken out), which is no small number. Sales tax in most of USA isn't even that much. I was attributing this 10% as mesos, so I apologize for my mistake.
Guess I was wrong.

Anyways, the point still stands that the common non-NX buyers can still obtain NX through MTS, I still hate the ppl who try to differentiate between people who buy NX and people who don't.

I hope people like Stereo don't have to go through the effort of over-simplifying such basic concepts (and bolding the important parts lol) as "where the mesos go when you purchase an item" in every topic.

It seems every time I sell my Gold Boxes, someone even more desperate for them comes along. I've already made 248m just selling them tonight, and it could have been way higher if I was just waited to find more desperate people. Lol

Oh well, this is quite fun making more money than I ever have before.

I agree. It's completely ridiculous for some person to buy a Chaos Scroll for 500 mil, then the next day this happens, and his Chaos Scroll isn't worth crap. I think what their game is, they put something rare out as Gach only, then once its craze dies down, they do something like this to make it "more easily accessible," except that just makes people spend more NX on it. All the good events cost NX, and they always make them all "Oooh, I must do it."

I have NX, but this is getting old and stupid. I sometimes pause to realize how much real money I flushed down the toilet to play this game, and it makes me uncomfortable. If I hadn't invested so much in my character, inventory, and wasn't in such a good guild, I'd switch games.

So, gold chests, the meso makers, come from a boss that I have no chance of killing as a paladin, or a monster that is resistant to all elements, which screws me over as a paladin.
