Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread
Dominion is still Fast paced no matter what, unless they remove completely the Passive Exp gain, the extra gold rate and the 3 levels at the start of the map.

You are confusing Fast paced with quick duration matches. (Even still most dominions matches are settled on the 15-25min mark and thats saying something considering Summoner Rift Matches last for about 30min-1h depending how good/bad each team is)
Just played an exciting game where we were pretty much losing. We came back simply because the opposing team made a few fatal mistakes while they were pushing. We got Baron (which changed things around), pushed, defended like nuts, and teamfighted as part of our defense. Then we got Baron 2nd time around, pushed, and after one teamfight, it was GG. Most of the teamfights after that were in our favor because all had our ults up when the fights started, and pretty much dumped it all on the enemy team.

Key to victory? We had 3 ults that could disable the entire team (Morgana, me [Amumu], and GP), an Ezreal who ran his ult through the opposing team once us AoE CCers locked the enemies down, and a Yorick that gave whoever died an additional 8 seconds to go rambo on the enemies (plus his slow AoE). And fortunately for me, dragging this game out was to my advantage because I had more time to get tanky, which was the case.

Forgot to take an SS though, but I do have the replay of that match.
Did a few co-ops with Yorick today. Really doesn't give that feeling of ripping into things... but can rip into things rather well. I also have no idea how to use his ulti in a useful way. Anyone play him? I tried a modified version of Rainman's solomid build getting Fratma's instead of trinity and it felt stupid weak until I actually got manamune and atma's. Then I did Bloodthirster stacking because that's fun on everyone.
Bought Nocturne and fed 0/13 as my first time jungling with him. Daaaamn. I keep being behind in gold and cs as well.
Sorry for leaving that Southperry game earlier, my internet was acting up.

Ulting the AD carry is usually pretty deadly when it comes to shear DPS.

In terms of maximizing Yorick's ult in a team fight, try to ult someone you feel can contribute the most, while not instadying. Ulting Kog'Maw (preferably when his BAB is on) can be somewhat hilarious, as he doesn't exactly disappear when dying normally, and people expect different.
Will pushes too much.

Someone queue-dodged his way to negative 18 elo in solo queue ranked. Leaves apparently aren't in effect xD
So word is on the street that Gunblade got stealth-nerfed by Riot overnight.....ahead of schedule. There were more changes to that item than previously announced in the Graves Patch Preview. O.o

60 AD --> 40 AD
75 AP --> 70 AP
20% Lifesteal --> 15% Lifesteal
25% Spell Vamp --> 20% Spell Vamp

Though Riot - by stealth-nerfing it ahead of schedule - forgot to change the tooltip for Gunblade in several places to reflect this change. Either way...GG to hybrids I guess. =\
Hmm thanks for the update Will. Just noticed my recent Akali game the tooltip shows the new stats. I didn't even notice a difference though. I still went 20/4/7 with her.
So anyone mind explaining why the AD nerf is 20, while everything else is only 5?
inb4 Lee Singer is to blame.

Anyways, that topic is saying the "Nerf" was reverted apparently.

I guess Riot decided that it was not in their best interests to do these ahead-of-schedule instagib changes. Tongue1

For a Item that was giving a Uncharged Bloodthisrter AD and Lifesteal(+5%) at almost the same price (3625g for Hextech and 3000g for Bloodthirster) WHILE also giving AP and SpellVamp that could very well cost 2k gold+ for 625 gold >.>. (Not to mention the Active)

Hextech Gunblade its a Pretty OP Goldwise cost item if you crunch the numbers
inc Nasus FOTM due to IEM.

It's probably because both Jax and Akali utilize the AD portion.. far too well.
