It's not a dumbass reason. It's not in the same magazine as Naruto/Bleach/One Piece (Those 3 are in shonen jump, Fairy tail is in Weekly Shonen Magazine) which publishes on a different day to Shonen Jump. I think Jump is fridays, Weekly is Mondays. Both are out roughly 2 days before they reach japans stores

And yup. Well thats a first: A timeskip with no development for any of the main characters. I guess I was wrong about that. What a complete waste that was then.

I'm not happy, this made the entire timeskip 100% pointless. They're no closer to being able to fight zeref or a dragon than they were 7 years ago. Hell, they could have at least ocarina of time'd it and had them still age despite being asleep, then at least the teenage members could have developed stronger bodies. On the other hand, I'm not completely surprised, making them all in their 20s would draw a huge line between the ages of the majority of fairy tail and the readers, but still...

Also :Ichiya and blue pegasus didn't think it was worth staying to see if Tenrou island still existed. wut.

Heck, the only thing that was worth seeing in this chapter was Natsu/Grey/Gajeel/Erza/Makarov pounding those Twilight Ogre idiots into a wall.

Well, it seems that this time skip was for everyone else except them get a power boost. And it seems Romeo will become main part or the following arcs.

Hades is like 60 years older than him so its not like people seem to die of old age in fairy tail. (Yes it might have been hades heart magic keeping him alive, but he didn't immediately die when they broke it, plus he was pretty sure he could just build another "heart")

Inb4 they don't change physically due to some crazy stasis magic from Mavis.

If they can't beat a chump guild then it isn't even balanced anyway, especially when people from seven years ago easily rape them.
