I hate seeing this complaint, because ever since which patch how many months ago... everyone had access to NX even if they don't pay real life money. Why don't you click the green Trade button at the bottom of your screen if you need NX?

I don't deal with the 10%+100 nx tax well, most of the pomegranate I find is worth under 50 nx and won't sell.



I guess I'll just hope enough people use these that those Pink Seal Cushions become affordable to a poor Paladin :p

Looks like NEXON is making our lives a lot easier with all these events..

First, easy-to-get (for NX people) Mastery Books and chairs from the event.

Now, this. Chests that give out rare erasers, all taos (need confirmation), pacs, etc.

Again, I hate seeing the "NX people" argument, simply because everyone has access to NX. The only difference is that the people paying for it is getting it faster. However, this doesn't exempt you from anything in the cash shop.

I believe that the events are getting increasingly better. I see the inflation being controlled from these two events. For the last event...
Every chair traded for is about 50mil mesos taken out of the system.
Every Gen 30 traded for is about 115mil taken out of the system. In addition to the 115m taken out of the system, an additional 400+ mil is taken when a Bishop uses one of the Gen 30s.

Now consider this event:
Every box takes around 7.5mil mesos out of the system (assuming that people use the MTS to obtain their NX.) Once opened, it releases usually a scroll or an item that can be scrolled. This increases the supply of the preexisting items, which means lower prices for EVERYONE. Then... with the chaos scrolls and the various other scrolls, which WILL most likely be used, even more mesos taken out of the system. For every PAC broken, mesos taken out of the system. For every balanced fury made, extreme amounts of mesos taken out of the system. (Like, a NL will buy it and hang onto it for life...)

No matter what, left and right, there are less and less mesos to purchase more and more goods, which overall will deflate the economy back to its original, unless you didn't notice the extreme inflation prior to this event. I think Nexon is doing an excellent job with the events and I commend them for that.

Although the 10% + 100nx is there, it shouldn't affect your mesos much with the higher priced items. (Such as glove atk 60%, which I use and sells quite quickly) I have never charged NX in my life, yet I was fully able to participate in the chair event, simply because I traded my mesos for NX in this fashion.

Also, I'm pretty sure everyone can afford to open at least one box by the time this event is over. If they profit from that open box, then they can potentially make an exponential profit by opening more and more boxes from the profit made from the first box, and so on.

I might open a box for the lulz using the remainder of my friend referal maplepoints (i have about 4 k i think). Hope for the best (or more friends get to level 20)...

It is bringing more items in, but it is not taking mesos out. The only time mesos are destroyed are when people buy things from NPCS or lose them to taxes. MTS does neither of these. It does take NX out of the system.

I make ~200k mesos/hr, 7.5mil over the duration of the event might be possible (depends how long it runs) but I'm not gonna count on it. Not everyone has an Arch Mage to sell leech for 5mil per hour when they need mesos.

Yes, it's true that different classes have a different amount of income, however, I'm still positive that everyone 3rd job or above can dish out that kind of money by the end of the event.

And yes, it does take mesos out. Here's the cycle in which the mesos follow:

1. Glove Att is purchased for 5mil each. 1% tax is 50K (negilible...)
   
2. Glove Att is put into MTS for around 1K NX. Tax is around 200 NX. (Which is about 1 mil, considering 1K to 5mil ratio.)
   
3. Some Glove Att scrolls are used, taking a direct 5m out of the system, for a total of 6mil out of the system.
   
4. Others are recycled into MTS, until it's used (which we all know eventually will happen.) Each time it is bought and recycled, 1 mil (via NX) will be taken out of the system.

I'll call that the MTS trading cycle, in which eventually, most of the Glove Att scrolls will be replaced with new ones. (either from bosses or from boxes.)

Total mesos lost: 50k

From here, the NX can travel in two directions:
1) It can be used to buy more items in MTS, where the "slight" tax will eventually build up.
2) NX gained by the original seller is spent on items in the Cash Shop, where it basically disappears.

To sum down:
Mesos ~> NX ~> Cash Item
= Mesos ~> NX ~> Disappear
= Mesos ~> Disappear

Think of the glove attack as a catalyst. It doesn't matter where the items go, it matters where the mesos go.

When you buy your scroll, that meso doesn't just poof. Do you see that little avatar in the top left portion of the shop? (Assuming it's a permit) Yeah, that's the shop owner. guess what happens to your mesos when you buy the scroll inside his shop? I'll give you a hint: It doesn't vanish into another dimension.

Anyway. Your moses are still in the economy. Unless you consider your own self to be the entire economy, it's still out there. Whoever ends up with your meso will in turn be able to spend it on another scroll. It will never truly evaporate in this cycle until tax has raped it through a ton fo trades.
