Currently Airing Anime

Persona 4 Episode 1: Finally finally finally, an anime that I've been looking forward to seeing, and this first episode hasn't mostly disappointed me at all. It makes me sad that they had to accelerate the plot a little bit by skipping over minor storyline details and merging a few more, but at least they remain faithful to the storyline in the game. The music... even the changing of days... was also faithful to the game.

Of course, for someone who has played the game, this anime is AWESOME from the start. To anyone who hasn't played the game, I guess this episode was a bit fast-paced. Might not be easy to understand what's going on, but then again... it was like that too in the beginning of the game lol.

Box 02: This show looks like it will be fantastic. I really like the art and colours from Silver Link. Fear is hnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggggggg

Working'!! 02: Can't remember the last time I dawwwwwwwwwwed so much or so hard.

Tamayura ~hitotose~ 02: HNNNNNNGGG. This is probably the best slice-of-life series ever, imo. Everything about this episode was just perfect; the atmosphere, the setting, everything.

GUILTY CROWN

And that badass music for Gai's fight. And even now that the show's out, I'm learning more awesome things about its pedigree. Supercell may be doing the OP and ED but the BGM is Hiroyuki Sawano who several others and I were fawning over for Ao no Exorcist.

My sentiments exactly about episode one, madanthony. That was just pineappleing awesome. Also, the opening song in this episode wasn't the supercell song, but I rather loved it regardless. Can't wait for the single to be released for the song from this episode.

I also watched Mashiroiro Symphony Ep2 earlier today, but it just can't compare to Guilty Crown.

Pretty strong episode. Characters have that CLAMP sort of lankiness/pointiness to them, which always takes a little getting used to but the designs are otherwise quite clean. I like Inga. I wanna know more about him? ...her? Digging the ED too.

Guilty Crown: I'm only watching this because supercell is singing. But it's been probably the best thing I've seen this season.

Exactly what songs supercell is behind are kinda iffy. We know they're doing the OP/ED, but the singer they picked for the ED (chelly) is also doing the insert songs, and it's not clear if supercell is behind those (I think one of the PVs said they were, but of course, I'm not sure if that translation is the best). The song used in the beginning wasn't "My Dearest", so it's not the usual OP. But in any case, going by the credits (which I'll post below this), I'm pretty sure it was by supercell and it certainly sounded like a supercell song to me, if that makes sense?

To be clear- Egoist is the in-show band, but supercell (well, ryo) wrote/composed the ED song "Departures (Anata ni Okuru Ai no Uta)" with chelly singing. The song that was used as the OP is on that song's single.

And now that that bit of detective work/guesswork is done- really good first episode and can't wait for more.

For Guilty Crown, what's the worst that could happen? We get lots of collaboration between Ryo and Sawano? That sounds like the best.

Supercell doesn't really have a singer, though if you mean Nagi, the OP's being sung by Koeda. And that single comes out November 30th. Can't wait either.

Boku ha Tomodachi ga Sukunai Ep2 - Oh man this show is amazing. I was laughing the entire time during the Monster Hunter game, and while they were playing the galge.

Best three shows I've watched so far: Shana III, Guilty Crown, and Hanagai.

Also damn, all the singles for the OP/EDs come out in November! D:

Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi 2 Episode 2: It's cheesy romantic yaoi and i love it. Its delightfully funny and sweet, i marathoned the first series last week and enjoyed it, loving the new series so far too, the animation is just great.

 This made me laugh out loud for some reason

Man, this season has a good lineup!

Hunter X Hunter, Bakuman season 2, Sukunai, Fate/Zero, and C3 are the ones I've been following so far, and I can't wait to go and watch the other ones! I'm going to have to hold out on Shana III, sadly, since I know that I'll want to marathon through every episode.

Shakugan no Shana III Ep2 - Another awesome episode. I somewhat wish I didn't read any of the light novel spoilers after I first finished watching the first two seasons, but still love it regardless. I can't get used to Yuuji's new appearance though.. it's just too weird for me.

I really hate transformation scenes for some reason (reminds me of sailor moon or power rangers) but Guilty Crown looks promising.
