I was expecting/hoping for a volley of objections between phoenix and edgeworth as his last special, but this is ok too.

I waited this long.... for that? Seriously disappointing. What the hell. His voice makes him sound like he's 12 and his facial expressions are just terrible. They were derpy on the ds and gb, but really? No epic objections.... I just don't see how his basic attacks make sense at all... And the judge's voice and dialogue is pretty lame too.

And did you really expect a LAWYER of all people to have fighting moves that make sense?

Okay, after seeing the other gameplay videos he looks much better. I still think the trailer is horrible :\

And I expected something more reasonable. Some of his normals do make sense, as he's looking for evidence and examining things, but some others just look like he's smacking people around in stupid ways.

Other news: megaman hinted to be dlc even further????:

He's on a poster in the background where the sentinels marked some of the characters that didn't make it into mvc3, and megaman is the only one there NOT crossed out.

Phoenix Wright's OTHER Level 3 made me lose it.

I do hope Megaman makes it as DLC, but I'm not sure how well he'll be playing since in the previous 2 games he's always been mediocre tier. If anything, I believe Megaman X would be a far better Megaman version to stick into the game. Given we already have Zero though, that's a pretty slim chance.

*I do really enjoy that his Turnabout mode overrides any music that's currently playing in the background with the Cornered theme. Just hilarious to think about.

Phoenix's damage in "objection mode" is insane. Drops spidey from full to none (assuming he uses the level 3 hyper with it), granted, spidey does have low hp. Or does objecting use up the evidence he's gathered?

The only question is how quick/reliably Nick can gather evidence in a competitive environment. People may bum rush Wright like people bum rush Phoenix, so he'll need all the help he can in having enough evidence to enter mini X-Factor mode.

Graphics matter!

Level 3 hyper can only be used in Turnabout mode, hits basically entire screen and will OTG. Doing 600,000 points of unscaled damage.

It is not just the graphics, even though they look crude, it's the whole bloody character implementation itself. It looks like it does not even fit in a tiny bit. I can honestly say I hate every second of what I saw in the Phoenix preview.

I think it's genius the way the implemented him. He really stands out and has a unique way of fighting.

Nova looks too generic, even if he has the unique ability to sacrifice red life for extra damage on his Shinku-Haddouken and Inferno. Although I do love the way he yells out "POWER OF THE NOVA CORPS!" during his Inferno, and his stylish pose while releasing that energy.

Nova had me at Aegis Reflector. Definitely going to try him out on a 3rd string team.
