Airing on FX, American Horror Story is pretty much all your horror tropes smashed together into one TV show. In my honest opinion, so far it is batpomegranate insane.

I'm really meaning to discuss this show with anyone else on SP who's watching (or has watched and doesn't want to keep watching) the series. There's a lot of.. mysteries surrounding it.

Blanket spoiler warning in this thread for all of AHS so far, I guess.

Minor note: Ryan Murphy notes the show as a psychosexual thriller. Take that for what you will.

NOTE: Because of the nature of this show, let's try not to get ourselves infractions, okay?

I've been watching it with my roomates and all we have gotten from the show is that this house is beyond haunted and that there are 1,000,000 ways for people/ghosts to enter and leave this house as they wish.

Every episode random peaches just show up and leave, pineappleing with the family as they please. Then we have the ghost/seductress maid, the wierd southern-bell next door who is a complete lunatic, her crazy deformed daughter, not to mention the ghost/real people that the father/physiatrist tries to treat. Every episode leaves me creeped out and confused on where they are going with this show. Oh yes, can't forget the mother who has been impregnated by a demon/ghost and is probably caring the child of Satan or something like that while her husband is under a controlled state of hypnosis and wants to burn his family alive like that other guy from the past. :f6:

Dylan McDermott naked. All that really matters about this show so far since I can't really tell if I like it yet. I can't believe he's turning 50 this month. I'd hit it.

Enjoying it so far! The first episode was really all over the place but the second episode felt like it knew more about where it was going. Loving that you can swear on FX, lol.

I just watched the first episode.
Holy pomegranate that was pineappleed. Really good though, I loved it.

Edit: Just finished episode 2. That scene reminded me of The Strangers. Looking forward to the next episodes.
