BE raises ur min dmg by 20% so I thought it would be more than that, I guess thats what I get for not taking the time to learn the formulas

Just want to have some valuable opinions from a few bowmasters here, which of these skills worth maxing up towards the end of the game. Ultimate Inferno or Elite Puppet?
I saw your guide on bowmaster 4th job but you didnt have sufficient reason for me to max elite puppet over ultimate inferno, so i would like a good debate on this and hopefully i can get the best skill build for my bowmaster, thank you.

Not sure why you have to debate when you could have both.

you cant max both of them at the same time, you either sacrificing elite puppet to max heros will and ultimate inferno or u sacrifice ultimate inferno to max elite puppet and hero's will. These are the alternatives.

As Locked said, Elite Puppet tanks 20% damage for you. That may not seem like all that much but keep in mind it tanks 1/1's for you as well. If the choice isn't abundantly obvious to you from that information, then you deserve Ultimate Inferno.

well if youre talking about combat orders, if i have lvl 10 ultimate inferno it will be lv 12 which give even more dmg, but if i were to leave it at lv 8 even after combat orders it would only get to lvl 10, you see the difference? Im just seeing ultimate inferno a lot more useful than the elite puppet for now unless someone can provide a valid reason on how much better and more useful elite puppet is

Im just saying which skill will benefit a bm more in terms of dmg and defence after you max them out, doesnt mean im not gonna put any points in elite puppet at all.

What do you mean by tanks 1/1's for you? Also does Elite Puppet tank 20% damage at lvl 1 or maxed :f6: I'm assuming maxed....

Okay so as a marksman, immeditately after putting 1 point into Ultimate Strafe, marksmanship, pierce, spirit link, puppet, and snipe, where exactly do I go from there? Immediately maxing pierce for mob training? (What I'll do for the most part) Joe's wording on the first post is confusing for me, my apologies.
My mind is still stuck in the days of old where it was always "OMG SE FIRST SDDFSFS HERPDERP" But I know that definately isn't the case any more.

LOOK BROS. WHO NEEDS ULTIMATE INFERNO WHEN YOU HIT SO DAMN HIGH WITH IT AT LEVEL 1+2.
I know my point isn't really made there but really, how often will you be using inferno at level 19x or so? All the mobs
can probably be killed with hurricane by that time so it isn't worth investing points into it.
Fire weak monsters, I know lol
Also. When you get hit with 1/1, EP saves you 20% of your HP. 2% at level 1, 20% at level 15. You guys decide which is the smart way to go.

Since you have 1 Pierce, you can determine yourself if you need more points in it to hit more monsters/reach an XHKO threshold, or you need more points into Marksman's Boost to deal better average damage.

I ended up maxing IS (for the dodge rate which is apparently glitched and doesn't work for marksmen) and leaving MMS at 3.
Was this a bad idea? Should I take 7 points out of IS and put them in MMS? I know the ignore PDR rate was jacked up for MMS, but will those 7 points be better spent in MMS than in IS? (when the dodge thing is fixed).
I'm thinking the 14% PDR is better than the 7% avoid (and longer duration), but I could be wrong. That's why I'm asking you guys
Would it be logical to consider taking points out of EP? Or is there anything else I'm missing?
I have SP reset scrolls in storage from previous events, and I'm hoping that I can use them before they expire.

Is IS actually supposed to give a flat 30% chance to dodge stacked on top of the passive 20%? The wording for IS implies that it just adds 30% AVOID. While the passive actually says "chance to dodge". So I'm questioning whether IS is really worth it or not if this is the case...
