My friend was trying to make the argument to me that it was the Sage of Six Paths, but I see a pretty big flaw in this. Iirc, didn't Madara get a rinnegan from Nagato? I remember seeing the Sage in screens from earlir chapters/episodes and he always had 2 rinnegan, whereas we know that Tobi had 2 sharingan when he fought Konan and then later he got a rinnegan. Plus what would the Sage's motivation be to try to control the ninja world? If anything since the Sage created the tailed beasts, he could eaisly control them himself and would have little need for Akatsuki. Judging by what we think we know (assuming everything surrounding madara is not a lie), I'm thinking it has to be an uchiha, but every candidate there is already dead (Itachi, sasuke's dad, Madara's brother who gave Madara his eyes before the fight with the 1st hokage).

So I now come back to my original conclusion: I have no idea who it is. Moar info on resurrected Madara is needed.

He said earlier that they were HIS eyes to begin with, and that was kinda a joke =P. But it doesnt make sense nothing makes sense anymore. LF> next week.

Man, I've been so skeptical to claim that Tobi isn't Madara as he claims since they've been more open about calling him Madara. Kakashi, I believe, and even Yondaime were convinced and thought it was possible- so why the hell not at that point?

I'm really glad to know that he isn't really Madara. I'm curious who he really is, I really hope he's a character we've already had some knowledge about. I used to be a fan of Tobi=Obito, but I stopped really even thinking that for a while. Let's see where Kishi takes this.

I'm putting my money on Madara's brother. It can't be Obito because he's too irrelevant to the plot (I mean, all he did was save Kakashi's life...) If it was Obito then the plot would shift more towards Kakashi/Obito (not like that's a bad thing) when it really should still be focusing on Naruto/Sasuke.

Tobi could be Madara himself. Maybe Madara split a part of his soul into Tobi's body so that he could use it while his real body died. Another theory would be that Tobi's actually a Zetsu clone that combined his own powers with Hashirama's cells to make a strong enough body to use as a substitute until Madara could use his original body.

Why is Madara talking about Nagato 1st off, when he gets out off the coffin? How would he have known him? What is this; Whole chapter is confusing >.>

See the thing is, Tobi has those marks under his eyes the same that Madara has, but Madara's brother doesn't have those. Maybe they are just old age lines but I doubt it.

Tobi's body definitely has some Zetsu material, he's lost his arm twice.

So hard. Gotta be his younger brother though. Maybe he did split himself somehow...

Also, in some discussion a freind saw they said this:

In English, it says that Sasuke used a technique in the future to get back to the past and change it, that way he's been manipulating Sasuke and Itachi and wants to unify the world with his Genjutsu.

LOL, so many theories.

I like the "time travel" theory, i just don't see why tobi would be surprised to see madara's body if he is madara from another dimension since that's more than possible if there's two of them in the same time period.

I pray it's not time traveling or alternate universes. I hate it when series do that. It's as if they're running out of plot ideas...

I am hoping emo-boy stays out of the limelight until more insane stuff goes down. We need more main characters/shinobi to die before we can let naruto and sasuke have their confrontation. We still have a lot to cover.

The dead Madara and the one behind the mask have the same plan though. Or at least the one behind the mask knew what the dead Madara was doing. When he got revived he mentioned Nagato. I'm assuming that the dead one did give Nagato the Rinengan, sometime before he died, and was planning on getting revived with his ability once Nagato was strong enough. Somewhere a long the the line, the masked Madara joined Akatsuki.

Mask Madara is an imperfect clone created by OG Madara (Similar to what he has going on with the Senju). That's what i'm telling myself so I can sleep at night.
