Maybe. But that would make no sense whatsoever with what we saw of obitos character. Plus, he knew things he never should have known about madara if he was obito.

At the moment, I'm leaning more towards it's madaras brother.

I'm also more intrested in just how long has kabuto known Madara isn't who he claims he is. Obviously from before he showed him that coffin which contained Madara.

Tobi gave him the renningan or whatever, I'm assuming he was supposed to be ressurected by him, hence why tobi was so pissed off. I really think it's his brother. I'll quit reading if it ends up being sas/ita father or something.

My friend was trying to make the argument to me that it was the Sage of Six Paths, but I see a pretty big flaw in this. Iirc, didn't Madara get a rinnegan from Nagato? I remember seeing the Sage in screens from earlir chapters/episodes and he always had 2 rinnegan, whereas we know that Tobi had 2 sharingan when he fought Konan and then later he got a rinnegan. Plus what would the Sage's motivation be to try to control the ninja world? If anything since the Sage created the tailed beasts, he could eaisly control them himself and would have little need for Akatsuki. Judging by what we think we know (assuming everything surrounding madara is not a lie), I'm thinking it has to be an uchiha, but every candidate there is already dead (Itachi, sasuke's dad, Madara's brother who gave Madara his eyes before the fight with the 1st hokage).

So I now come back to my original conclusion: I have no idea who it is. Moar info on resurrected Madara is needed.
