Stealth remake incoming in a few patches! Personally I don't like it, but with many other things, I'll try it before I really start knocking on it.

Ashe is my personal favorite due to her utility and near-unlimited slows as well as a crisp, quick attack animation, but Tristana has much better DPS output as a single champion while having superior attack range late game. Burstiness is comparable. Tristana has an escape, while all Ashe has are slows and a stun (more of an interrupt most of the time). Ashe requires a lot more team coordination and smarts to bring out her best potential however.

Okay yeah. Had a sample bot practice battle with Ashe. 6 kill, 3 deaths, 1 double kill, killing spree of 4 kills. Ashe is disgusting for a ranged attacker. Volley just shreds up minions, and Frost Arrow + Volley + Ultimate leads to some very dead Champions.

But yeah, ashe is a really good start for new players, because she has one of the safest initiations in the game (her ult) and also shows ranged dps as well as how good cc can be.

Also first rotation that I have all the characters in. Tongue

OK NEW AP SHEN IDEA

get revolver then forget about AP and build tank

Revolver gives him ranged sustain in addition to melee sustain, gives him extra Q damage (not that important), 16 extra HP on Feint, and most importantly, 60 more HP on Stand United. Seems good to me on paper...
