so with ACB being absolutely amazing, does this affect the 4th job skill maxing order
#1
for paladins?

because the way it is, I'm kind of tempted to max ACB, and basically ignore blast for a while

why?
ACB @ 12: Damage: 740%. Max Monsters Hit: 7, Weapon Mastery: +74% when charged.

Blast @ 32: MP Cost: 25, Number of Attacks: 3, Damage: 294%, DEF Ignore Chance: 21%, Additional Crit Rate: 52%, Instant Death Chance: 11%

I'm not a huge 1v1 bosser, I've never been on a Z-Run, and I've never even bothered to do the prequests.
But what I am interested in doing is mob training as much as I can, and CB is a lot of fun, at least for me

so my idea for a 4th job build was as such.

120: +1 rush (1) +2 ACB (2)
121: +3 ACB (5)
122: +3 ACB (8)
123: +2 ACB (10) +1 Divine Shield (1)
124: +3 Divine Shield (4)
125: +3 Divine Shield (7)
126: +3 Divine Shield (10)
127: +3 Holy Charge (3)
128: +3 Holy Charge (6)
129: +3 Holy Charge (9)
130: +3 Holy Charge (12)
131: +3 Holy Charge (15)
132: +3 Holy Charge (18)
133: +2 Holy Charge (20) +1 Blast/Heaven's Hammer (1)
134: +3 Blast/Heaven's Hammer (4)
135: +3 Blast/Heaven's Hammer (7)
136: +3 Blast/Heaven's Hammer (10)
137: +3 Blast/Heaven's Hammer (13)
138: +3 Blast/Heaven's Hammer (16)
139: +3 Blast/Heaven's Hammer (19)
140: +3 Blast/Heaven's Hammer (22)
141: +3 Blast/Heaven's Hammer (25)
142: +3 Blast/Heaven's Hammer (28)
143: +2 Blast/Heaven's Hammer (30)

Yeah i honestly don't know after this point. is it more worth it to max HH or Blast first?

You should consider some stance before heaven's hammer.

About how much stance?

If you can bear it, max it first. I have a pet peeve about being knocked around while training, especially a monster with lots of HP.

ACB was ALWAYS a priority on the 4job skills.

Also dont get too happy, aparently our ACB is missing its 700ms delay (Its not supposed to attack that fast)

I noticed while in PvP how fast ACB was....I still lost though because of how laggy it is.
You could do Stance instead of Blast in that Skill build you got there.

What do you think the odds are that nexon will actually catch that glitch, haha.
Aside from that I've got a fast weapon, so I'm okay on that front even if the delay gets added back in.

Stance seems like a decent idea. I might go with that idea.
I'm only level 95 atm, but I like planning ahead.

Stance is the greatest thing ever invented. It is the sole reason why DB's are better than the other thieves. Max it like there's no tomorrow.

Yeah, the only build that didn't get ACB first was "can't get the skillbook from Zakum and have 10+ SP saved for when you do get it".

As far as the build goes, I'm curious why you're putting Holy Charge so earlier.
At the end of the day, it's only a 7% boost to your damage.

Honestly, though, I feel like ignoring Blast is a bad idea with the current state of the game.
Even if you don't "boss run", there are now PQs out the butt that will end up with you fighting a monster a single monster.

STOP SAYING THIS!!

Oh, and 700ms would actually be faster than it is now.
OMG FACTS!

I have no idea of the actual mechanics, but I'm here to say:

If there is a 700 ms DELAY

the move will be slower in a period of time compared to if it doesn't have a delay.

That is all.

It does have a delay. That delay is 810ms.

If it didn't have a delay, then Paladins would be the most broken class ever.
You know, like when hackers used to run around with no delay on their attacks.

But thanks for reminding us that 0 < 700, despite that not being relevant to the discussion.

So 20 points for pretty?
I don't quite grasp the concept of picking and choosing when you care about efficiency, so you'll have to forgive my confusion.

I said that because I wasn't aware it had a 810 ms delay, so it made it look like your post really said 0 > 700.

Just saying.

I didn't see the part where he wanted to be efficient. Only the part about enjoying this game with ACB and its revamped skill animations.

Because believe it or not, people do occasionally play Maplestory for something other than pure damage.
Weird, isn't it?

Not occasionally, more like 100%.

Just saying.
The only way my post could look like that was if it was being read by someone ignorant enough to believe any attacking skill has a 0ms delay.

Just saying that is all in totality.

Read harder:

^That's a question of efficiency.

Heffalump Wrote:Because believe it or not, people do occasionally play Maplestory for something other than pure damage.
Weird, isn't it?
Then why not just put a few points into Holy Charge so it lasts a decent amount of time?
That way you could put points into other skills.

Weird how you didn't think of that, isn't it?

It's simply a contradiction that you concern yourself which of Hammer and Blast is "more worth it" while neutering yourself elsewhere.
