And, just for added fun, you can no longer hunt red whips from drum bunnies or wraiths, unless you make a new character just for that and keep killing it so it won't overlevel those mobs...

Expanding on this, do they stack with the Resistance Ring? I'd like to get one for my Mech.

Sorry, did I miss something? Do we need Red Whip for one of these events? I have 2 of them on a mule, but getting more will be a pain with this new system, as I have all 5 of my character slots taken up by 70+s.

to use AEE's, wards, and potential scrolls, you need to bw able to equip the item, since the AEE/pot scrolls are untradeable, you have to be able to equip it in every char, since my DB isn't a warrior, he can't equip the warrior top to scroll it with AEE or whatever.

hence you need the skill that allows you to scroll items without equiping them, and getting said skill is done by doing a quest that requires a red whip.

I thought this patch(or is it the next update) removed the red whip and scroll requirement and made it only cost 100k meso to do that quest?

Oh, that actually makes sense. Meh, I probably won't bother doing it on more than 1 character, I only have 2-3 items to potential anyway, and AEEs are cool and all but I can live without STARS EVERYWHERE, I'll just use them on my ewand/czak/something
