Controversy erupts over Campus Republicans @ UC Berkeley over their racist bake sale

[spoiler=I can't resist squashing this]
thegreatone Wrote:@the other guy: Pointing out one spelling mistake therefore I cant spell, just lol

I was pointing out that you should probably check the spelling of a word you've mispelled a little over a dozen times. It also implied nothing on those lines, you just made another assumption, I was correcting you as it seems you were unaware. Sorry for doing my civil duty.

thegreatone Wrote:We are talking about now not even everyone was an immigrant stay in this time period please.

Well that's funny, it seems that you aren't understanding the context's of this discussion. The whole point of these silly scholarships were because of past reasons. If you want talk now, then your argument is even weaker. There is no reason any race should gain such an edge in today's society.

thegreatone Wrote:Concede my ass more like not wanting to deal with a child over the internet take it as you will.

At least I don't make bluffs to prove my maturity mr.lasttimeI'llspeakwithyou. Or use the most ridiculous arguments through personal opinion rather than fact.

thegreatone Wrote:We aren't talking about idiots spending money they don't have look at the damn topic of the thread

As we continue you make me question your credibility to your opinion. See this is how the conversation actually went:

you Wrote:bet your one of those guys who didn't get in the school you wanted and blamed affirmative action for your own lazy ass or you just didn't put in as much effort as the other people who applied.

me Wrote:your assumption is just retaliating with a hypocritical statement you were just criticizing me on. I have nothing against minorities, all power to them, what I have against is dumb asses.

Which was retorting to your hypocritical personal attack. The later, which was my large explanation of the housing scenario was an example of what I consider a "Dumb ass who is coincidently a minority".

thegreatone Wrote:THIS IS ABOUT EDUCATION god damn it get that in your head. I agree with what you said people of any color who do that are retards and don't deserve pomegranate however we aren't talking about them. Last time I checked this discussion was about affirmative action and how some people feel its an unfair advantage. Compared to what people have had to go through your an idiot to say that.

And what the f`uck is affirmative action, it's reverse racism, which is what the entire subject is about. Seriously it's so goddam funny you trying to correct me on the topic when you yourself don't know what the whole fuss is about. See this is your true colors showing, the colors of "We are owed something". You don't see the irony of a race being chosen over another and given more to help their "disadvantage". There is no disadvantage, it's a false reality, you don't even know what oppression actually is.

thegreatone Wrote:It does not matter that they are not at the top tier the fact that most go to public schools and those schools are pineappleed up ever been to an inner city school my man. Until then shut the pineapple up. When the trend is like this all around the nation you bet your ass it's a problem.

I went to Baltimore for 2 years while I was relocating to annapolis. It was a lot more dangerous, but it wasn't the education, it was fact most of the classmates were ignorant dumb asses who's aspirations are scarface and 50 cent. So believe you me, it isn't a district thing, it's a culteral thing. It's irresponsible parents having kids they do not have the maturity, intelligence, or money to raise all because "F`uckin them big booty b`itches" is the american dream. So no, it isn't the public school's that cause the problem. Do you know why I know this? I went to Baltimore for 2 years during high school, were talking about metal detectors for high school. I then transferred to broadneck which was one of the best high schools in the state, nothing really changed. I read the same books, the only difference is my peers were more civil.

thegreatone Wrote:You can start with housing markets after WWII seeing as public schools are mainly funded through income taxes. That's when it starts to become more apparent.

Yeah funny about that income tax, especially when half the country doesn't pay them, why? They feel like they make too little to contribute to the country. So they get tax credits, waivers, what have you, and guess what? It's those same dumb ass complainers who are crying to Obama for a solution who don't pay those taxes. Once again, that isn't a discrimatory thing, that's a "You owe me" thing.

thegreatone Wrote:Affirmative actions does need to go though its like giving a guy with lung cancer cough syrup for his cough instead of curing the damn cancer. However blaming it because you didn't try hard enough is stupid. If your so worried about it apply to a historically black college and be on the receiving end I guess.

Who says it's a problem about getting in? What about the fact they spend a big chunk of less tuition than me? See this is even more proof you didn't even read the argument or this topic is going over your head. It's about tuition, not just selection. I'll attend college through my company so my seat is sealed, period, is that me trying hard enough? Now what about me losing an extra 20 grand just because I'm not an illegal immigrant? Sound fair?

Hey guys!

So Today was the bake sale Big Grin

They sold all their pastries ^__^

They had a nice small gathering at the table with news cameras all over the place and a mob of Republican people (or people against affirmative action or w/e the bill is supposed to be). They also had a few humorous protesters (including one that made "magical pastries" for Introducing more diversity to Hogwarts (Muggles were worth more than half breeds)).

Then all of a sudden, this club with a bunch of the BSU and a club called Revolution decided to have a major demonstration where they blocked the entirety of Sproul Fountain area and the other half of Sproul that was not occupied by the Republican group. They lay down on the ground for about an hour and a half and suffered in silence in the sun to demonstrate and promote (according to their flyers):

 Spoiler

And then the Revolution club made pamphelts against white people and assumed that all repbulicans were white men that hated on black people, mexicans, and degraded women. Asians weren't included because apparently they're not a minority anymore and they're not a majority either, so I don't know why when people demonstrate these things they never include Asians even though they've suffered probably as much discrimination as every one else.

EDIT: posted pamphlets and the anti-protest protest. Enjoy.

THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS. Oh well, should have seen it coming from the initial idiocy.

Oh well, I wonder what will bring the next legislation that makes me fear such a racist country.

At least they sold out. That's a good thing, right? Or was it racist they sold them all?
