Monster park
Killmeplsok Wrote:Well, still, I can tell you that training in LHC is far better than MP, unless you're aiming for coins and potential-ed equips.

This is a video I recorded few months ago, maybe you could take a look, sorry for the low quality also.

My damage was crappy back(Just started KMS for 2 days) then so it's a pretty slow run in my view.

The video's quality is too low to make out what your starting and ending EXP are.

I wish people would stop discussing how good this place is at 150+ since my original intent was to see how good it was for people below 120.

Is MP the best training spot for 1 - 70? 71 - 120?

You can't really blame people for doing that. You can breeze through level 1-130 in a week without even straining yourself, the use for more ways to do so is not really what the average mapler need or want. Leveling from 1 to 130-150ish is childsplay, after 150 it starts to become a chore, so of course that is where most lay their concern.

I'm not blaming them for anything, honestly. I'm just saying that I wish more info relevant to me was forthcoming.

I don't have the time or willpower to get to 130 in a week, and it's particularly annoying for me because I don't know where to train. I'm 110 on my i/l and LHC burns far too many pots to even consider it. I could go back to captain/kru, but they're rather slow now. How good monster park is will decide in part whether I come back - if I can get to 120 fast, then I can get CL, and that means I can train at LHC with less pot burn (longer range than CL, I believe).

MP is #1 until 110+. Then it's LHC for the rest of your days.

PQ's are better for 120- than monster park. Or so I heard...

Now I don't know who to believe. And PQ's aren't an option for me unless they're extremely popular so that getting a party is super easy.

PQ's from 10-70.
MPQ and Monster Park till 110.
then LHC for the rest of your days.

take it from a KMS player that misses LHC more than anything else..

I don't want to do LHC on my i/l mage. It's a huge pot burn, and the exp isn't anywhere near fast enough to justify it. It's almost as slow as captain/kru. =_=

"LHC for the rest of your days" isn't exactly true.
Ascension provides PQ's that are very good throughout 120-200.

Could you please tell me the name of one of the new PQ's that applies to a level 110 i/l mage? o3o

All PQs are good (although some are better than others). Everyone in kMS for levels 70~120 usually spends most of their time doing MPQ grind, meaning go into the Romeo and Juliet PQ, get the the stage with the Neo Roids and just train there for the rest of the time (or stop at like 5:00 and finish the rest of the PQ).

Lucky you, Nexon is maybe making ellin forest and neo City into party play so here's your training!

I saw that neo city had its levels lowered, so I'm considering going there. If only I knew where or what that is... o3o

Umm I/Ls get pretty dam good in Ascension, which is being added...now... Everything worthwhile will be a pot burn and imo, LHC is pretty dam fast, even at 16x.

Lots of places aren't pot burns at all. Also, I see that you're a bowmaster - I'd rather you not compare your pot usage to anyone else as archers the only ones without any kind of damage mitigation right now.

What? Archers are some of the biggest pot burners atm

Exactly. I don't want my mage to be compared to an archer's potburn. Archers can say "every place is a huge pot burn" but that doesn't mean it's true for everyone else. Hence, why I mentioned that they have no damage mitigation.

I did a comparison with two archers who were in my party (I believe they were both marksmen) and they burned roughly 3x as many hp pots as I did. They did burn fewer MP pots, but I buy the % ones, and on the whole, they're using more pots than I am.
