Anyone else watched the premiere yesterday? It was awesome IMO, though it really reminded me of avatar.

Your thoughts?

Quite disappointed personally. It was like a blatant attempt at poorly ripping off avatar, very obvious. Getting past that though, I really disliked how at the end of the episode they started going all into depth about those markings at the waterfall after the scene where the leader guy was CLEARLY pretending like there was nothing at the waterfalls to his daughter. They should've just left it at that and gone into it a bit more in the next episode, held some suspense and all that, i'd have tuned in for the next episode so I could find out more. But since Fox is only pandering to the lowest intelligence in the bucket, I have little interest.

I agree they didn't really leave room for the mystery. Learning that the leader of the Sixters is the son of the General (though I already guessed it), the waterfall thingies, etc. clearly spoiled the fun a little...

Ok, downloaded it (or I guess I'll have to wait another year to see this in The Netherlands...) and actually, I quite liked it!

It's like a mix of Stargate and Whale Wars, on FOX! Hehe!

I would really like to follow this, I just hope it doesn't concentrate too much on fighting but more on exploring.
