Path of Exile

It's like Diablo. It's made by an indie group. It's gonna be an MMO. It's gonna be F2P.

No, I'm not joking. And it's been getting quite a bit of hype lately. They're under CBT at the moment, and the only way to play is with a key.

Still, the game looks like... Diablo, aside from some tweaks that make it unique from it. And for an indie company to make a game look THIS good in a shorter time than how long Diablo 3 has been in development, it's worth checking out.

Considering Torchlight 2 is supposedly being released at the end of this year, I'mma wait for that to satisfy my "Diablo Craze".

Having actually played the game I can say it feels like Diablo in a very good way. I would at least try it if you like Diablo. Personally, I prefer Titan Quest but it's great nonetheless.

From everything I've seen, it has too many skills and, more importantly, too many useless skills. It gives the illusion of being able to pick a unique path when in reality if you don't pick from a handful of builds your character will suck horribly.

Maybe they will fix that after beta, but if not, I can't find any interest for it.
