Rex Earrings after revamp?

So, I understand that most PQs and their respective rewards are getting revamped.
I'm wondering what happened to the current Rex earrings?
Do they turn into new rex earrings?

They stay the same.

They stay the same, but you need 50 Hobb Warrior Proofs (from the boss) to upgrade the earrings to their level 125 versions.

Not to mention they also become untradeable with no option for SoK/PsoK

not really worth losing and having to recube to 18% dex then.

Sell it and upgrade a new one before legendary cubes kicks around and then you can play around with chaos scrolling those new earrings along with cubing because its unlikely you'd get perfect stats the 1st time around anyways.

The fact they're untradeable kind of ruins it.

I've saved Chaos scrolls for this occasion. Even if I just get a few additonal attack it would be a nice thing to have.

Sort of like our lame silent crusader shoulders, hell yes tons of people with 12WA but quite a bit of people like the fact that you can 3 line potential them. Yes though, it doesn't help you any for reselling value or transferring around to different characters. Same with our good ol' reverse DB masks for thieves, beats the other lame low lvl gears.
